Loss Posted October 29, 2014 Author Report Posted October 29, 2014 Clips of JR Smooth attacking some dude named Cannonball with a baseball bat at a house show. Wolfie D, Tommy Rich and Dirty White Boy come out together for an interview, and they are now being called the Memphis Mafia. Doug Gilbert has been reinstated, but now he's only at live events. He's not allowed on TV. Rich claims that's not fair because he can draw money without getting a chance to say his peace. I love that logic. In a world of Kevin Nash's booking, it almost makes too much sense. Doug is in the parking lot and gets in a shouting match with Hales but Hales keeps him out of the studio. Quote
ajtroma Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 The Cannonball in question is "Chris 'The Dragon' Cannonball" otherwise known as Pierre/Jean Pierre Lafitte/Pierre Oulette doing a firebreathing gimmick and hailing from Miami. His promos were brutal. Quote
Tim Evans Posted April 19, 2015 Report Posted April 19, 2015 Wolfie continues to be on both shows. Good promo from DWB. Tommy Rich is even fired up. Quote
soup23 Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 DWB and TOmmy Rich seem right calling themselves the Memphis Mafia. Doug is on the scene New York Jets jersey and all. Good promo and still a good bill here for the overall angle. Quote
PeteF3 Posted August 1, 2017 Report Posted August 1, 2017 Carl Oulette is taken out with a baseball bat at an arena show, as he's booked for a tour of All-Japan. I'd buy a ticket to see the Memphis Mafia against the BSK in some WarGames-esque gimmick match. All the Mafia members cut rapidfire promos one after the other and this totally rules. Quote
