Loss
Last few minutes. Crowd was hot, just as it always was for this matchup. Scott Hudson is doing announcing because Bischoff thought Tony was getting burned out and needed a break. Flair does the Flair Flop then just stands up. After a ref bump, Asya takes a Stinger Splash. After Sting locks on the Scorpion, Bischoff comes in and takes over refereeing and calls for the bell. Flair officially no longer has control of the company. Thank God. He's off TV for the next two months to wash this stink off of him. Sid comes out and powerbombs Bischoff right away, making him a beloved figure. Hogan comes out to chase him away. tim
Does Bischoff have an offical role yet? Why is he stopping the match where the stipulation is CONTROL OF WCW? Other than that, Sting's comeback was cool.
Tim Evans
Sid's powerbomb of Bischoff is brutal. Bischoff lands right on his neck. Nice to see WCW do a montreal finish 2 years later.Crowd is hot at least.
soup23
Clusterfuck shit. Bischoff just calls off the match and Flair is gone for a vacation. The start/stop of WCW around this time is too much. Sid comes out and attacks Bischoff. This WCW stuff right now is just so frantic that it legit makes you tired to watch. PeteF3
Crowd heat helps this, but this is pretty much more of the same over the past two months. Or in the case of Sting and Flair specifically, the past 11 years. Bischoff's role continues to make no sense and I honestly am not sure why Sid would be so concerned about the result of this match. Feels like very 1986 "all the heels and babyfaces are friends" booking. Flair could use the time off for sure.
