Loss
Austin does commentary. Another fun, fast-paced Crockett-style TV main event. HHH attacks the ref, then hits Rock with a chair. HHH calls out Austin, who gets in the ring. Rock revives just as HHH eats a stunner and gives him a Rock bottom immediately after. The ref is slowly reviving and we get the most dramatic sllooooowwww two-count of all time before Davey Boy hits the ring and attacks Rock. He also goes after HHH and gives him a running powerslam. Pushing Davey Boy at this stage was obviously ill-advised.
Tim Evans
It always amazes me when they go in the crowd. Hebner's slow 2 count is even more annoying than usual. What was the reason Bulldog fell down the card so fast after this? Just a couple months later, he was teaming with the Mean Street Posse. Dooley
Between his back injury and his painkiller addiction, Bulldog was an absolute mess at this point.
soup23
Fun crowd brawling match with a nuclear crowd. I always enjoy Austin on commentary. Is this Russo's last booked show? We get a schmozz finish and Bulldog getting involved doesn't seem to fit and a step down for Rock as a program at this point similar to the Mr. Ass stuff in the Summer. *** (5.9)
PeteF3
Heated match, a typical Raw main event, with a super-lame ending that just kills the crowd. I guess they had to justify their unbelievably cynical and crass signing of Davey Boy, but he had no business being pushed this high on the card.
