Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
A very angry Mankind confronts The Rock over trashing his book. I hated The Rock at the time and really enjoyed this and thought it was overdue. Foley wrote in his book that he held on to anger for months over Rock not checking on him after their Rumble match and that pent up anger sort of let itself out here. Tim Evans
Mankind tells Rock to grow up at the end of his diatribe. I love that USA tries to censor "God Damn" but miss it completely.
Zenjo
Fair enough. The Rock in 1999 was probably the most obnoxious babyface since Hulk Hogan. Like I've said earlier he got away with it by being insanely charismatic.
soup23
I have to side with Mick here. Rock was being a prick and couldn't even have the courtesy to throw it in his trunk or something.
PeteF3
Way to go, Mick. "I say to you, DWAYNE--you piss on everything I believe in, I say piss on you, you self-righteous egotistical son of a bitch." "The Rock says this--" "NO, *I* SAY THIS." He shuts down The Rock so effectively and brutally here that he actually gets the crowd cheering for him. A must-see segment, partly for Foley's performance and partly because it's so rare to see Rock just completely destroyed verbally.
Superstar Sleeze
You guys are pretty harsh on Rock. I think it is all in good fun and he is quite entertaining, but Mick putting him in his place was glorious. Foley just absolutely rips into him. the Grow Up at the end was great.
