Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Kevin Christian comes out during Brian Christopher's scheduled interview time. Doug Gilbert is not there today because he has PCS. He says he saw Doug wandering around outside across the street and brought him into the studio where it's safe. We get Brian Christopher coming out dressed like him and this is a pretty funny, spot-on impersonation. He copies his accent and promo cadence a little too well. Those crazy Lawler kids. He blames Lawler for being blackballed from the WWF during this parody, which is probably real feelings being thrown into the promo. Spellbinder then comes out dressed as Tommy Rich in an even more accurate impersonation. He has a bottle of alcohol in a paper bag. Tommy Rich comes out to stop this but Power Pro officials are holding him back. This is better than every WWF and WCW parody. So great. ajtroma
I thought Spellbinder looked more like Buddy Landel in that wig.
Tim Evans
If you look at Kevin Christian's face close enough, it looks like he and Brian are twins. Especially when laughing. This might have been Brian's crowning moment. An incredible impression of Doug. Talks about the WWWF and his fake teeth fall out. That Tommy Rich impersonation was just wrong. PeteF3
Christopher and Spellbinder take some very, very low blows at Gilbert and Rich here. Rich was NWA World champion for a whole 24 hours before they found out he couldn't work a lick and had to take the belt off of him. "Doug" also points out to "Rich" that no one has *ever* actually "said anything about 'fired up'" in the funniest part of this. Like with the original Arn parody, there's an undercurrent of viciousness and true heat here that separates this from your average WWF/E parody.
