Loss
I loved this match. It was a really good tag team sprint. They cut an awesome pace and the Outlaws even feed Austin and Rock some good spots. Austin ends up as FIP, which surprises me. It’s interesting how Billy Gunn is worlds better as a tag wrestler than a singles wrestler. He has great chemistry with Austin here and mixes in some good heel stuff with good athleticism. I like the top two singles wrestlers against the top tag team being on the set, and it helps that it’s one of the better TV main events of the year. HHH runs in but Austin cuts him off a the pass. They end up brawling out of sight leaving Rock on his own to fight off the Outlaws. Rock is making his own comeback when X-Pac shows up to attack Rock. DX is reunited! Tim Evans
Another good tv match. Billy and Road Dogg were working more agressivley than usual. Also loved the signs like Austin fears Misawa and JR saying "The ass is cracked" when Billy Gunn takes the Rock Bottom.
tim
The entrances are really something, all these guys are over huge. And it leads to a really fun match. Cool dynamic with the top two singles faces vs. the top tag team. A star studded Attitude Era RAW main event isn't something you expect to be worked like a southern tag and they do a pretty good job of it here. Good babyface 'shine', sort of an awkward face in peril but still executed well enough with the crowd really into it, and a short but hot comeback from the Rock. Rock gets pinned by a spinning heel kick! Really good stuff, one of the better WWF matches of the year.

That's badass
PeteF3
The wrestling in the WWF is slowly starting to matter again. Not only is this a good TV main event with tremendous heat, but the finish took *me* in all over again--I'd been wondering for the past several weeks how we were going to get to DX getting back together because I had no recollection of how it happened. Well, here we are, as X-Pac runs in and gives Billy Gunn an upset pinfall over The Rock. A top tag team *should* probably beat two top singles guys, especially if the two singles guys are supposed to face each other in a triple threat in a few weeks. Superstar Sleeze
There it was right in the front row of the Providence Civic Center. Was that the Place to Be Boys? Austin Fears Misawa in all its glory. I just skipped to the end. I forgot how they got D-X back together so that HHH has a super heel group for backup. I guess at this point Chyna is probably going to split off on her own as a babyface which leaves a slot open for Steph to be the lead female heel with Hunter.
