sek69
Apparently the Tolands, former OVW tag champs, are going to be billed as James and Jack Dick, and their whole gimmick is their name. Seriously, are 12 year olds running creative now? The best they can come up with for guys now is dick jokes?
Mad Dog
This really pisses me off. The Tolands are probably the best team they've called up in a long while and they've already cut them off at the knees. Why even fucking have OVW when you screw over everyone when you call them up. Al
Didn't everyone learn their lesson from the Johnsons on TNA?
Mad Dog
I imagine everyone on the writing staff would stare at you with a blank look on their face if you mentioned them. If Katie Vick didn't teach them a lesson nothing will.
Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0
... Yeah, I'm not really worried about TNA's competition outshining them anymore either.
sek69
Right about now, Heyman's probably starting to figure out what caused Cornette to go around slapping people.

Loss
Has WWE hit a five-year low, just in the past month alone, or is it me?
sek69
I'd say at minimum it's a five year low.
Loss
To add more to the insanity going on in the company right now, WWE is wanting Coach to pin Austin at the PPV tomorrow night after Mark Henry costs him the match. Stupidest booking move in some time. While I do think they sometimes keep Austin too strong in certain situations, the least they could do if they're going to go this route is try to get an active wrestler over with the loss. They're also killing their hopeful WM XXII main event in the process.
Strummer
The whole Coach/Austin/Vince/Steph/Ross angle was booked on the fly. Before Mike Goldberg backed out, the angle was that Shane was going to come back as a babyface and feud with Vince/Steph/Linda and hire back Ross and use him as an announcer on wwe.com. When Goldberg declined, they panicked and asked Austin to be in the angle the night before the October 17th Raw. The plan was changed and Ross was going to be brought back to Raw. But adding to this incompetence they can't end the angle now because Ross still has to recover from surgery and cannot travel, so thus Coach really has to go over. What a mess. They were stupid enough to book an angle based on assuming Goldberg would roll over for them. it didn't work out and now the whole thing has went to shit. it's their own fault for being dumb enough to book something involving someone they hadn't even signed at that point. Mad Dog
Has WWE hit a five-year low, just in the past month alone, or is it me? All time low I'd say. As bad as 95 was it wasn't anywhere near this bad. I think the last month of Raw might take the cake for worst month of wrestling tv ever.
Loss
I'm wondering if now, for the first time really ever, JR will refuse to participate in an angle and will quit instead of coming back.
Marty
Meltzer note tonight: So the big news of the day isn't Christian [email protected] Steve Austin was told he was going to do the job for Jonathan Coachman on Saturday and refused. Apparently he also found out that Jim Ross also wasn't returning as Raw announcer despite how the angle was playing on television. Tonight on Raw they changed the match to Dave Batista vs. Coachman. Torrie Wilson is also gone. Goldust and Vader debuted on Raw. --- I've hardly watched any of the show tonight, but caught some of the Coach-Goldust-Vince-Funaki-Batista-Vader (did I get all that?) segment, and wondered what the fuck was going on. This angle's looking rather fucked for the PPV tomorrow.
Guest teke184
What are they smoking at Titan Towers and where can I get some? Jesus, it must be the same stuff that my boss, Gov. I doubt that. He may decline to return to an onscreen or online role but I doubt he wants thosr six figure cheques to stop.

sek69
It looks like they've done almost a total reset to 1996.
Guest teke184
Let's see... Taker is still on top. HBK is getting a push. There's an Olympic athlete getting a push. Vader is in the WWE. JBL is still employed. HHH is getting a push. Yep, sounds like 1996 all over again. Now all we need is for Sid to show up...
sek69
Tonight's show seemed to show that the wheels have completely fallen off the company. Guys are getting hurt, guys are quitting, angles are falling apart at the seams....if your intention was to ram a company into the ground, you couldn't plan it better than what's happening to WWE now. Mad Dog
We might get finger poke number 3 in the span of a month if Coach pins Batista tonight. Also I don't think it's ever been this bad. I'm also tempted to say that even at WCW's worst Feb/March of 2000 wasn't this bad.
