cactus Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 This is from a newsreel, so it's heavily clipped and we have to deal with an irritating sexist narrator, but at least we get a rare glimpse of early women's wrestling. There's a certain amount of intensity in every little thing they do and there's no wasted movement. This makes minute things like attempting a lock up or applying a headlock fun to watch. This certainly makes me curious to check out more women's wrestling from this era. Quote
BruiserBrody Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 With JBL doing questionable commentary during this week's SD! women's match I guess we can see how far we've come. ' Quote

WingedEagle Posted August 28, 2024 Report Posted August 28, 2024 This was by far the highlight of the early footage we have available. Both worked with tremendous physicality and aggression and while its not something one can rate given the clipping, its easy to say that this looked like an absolutely tremendous match rather than good for its time.
