I didn't know this had been posted so here is the link. A day late and a dollar short.

 

 

Will is joined by Kris Zellner (Exile on Badstreet, Between the Sheets), El Boricua, Pete and Johnny Sorrow (Titans of Wrestling) to watch WWE crown a new world champion. Re: Spanish commentary. Announcing is way better in the sense of Carlos and Marcelo not burying talent. But the broadcast as a whole took a nosedive once Hugo stopped being a heel color commentator (which was in 04' or 05'), since then it's been very vanilla commentary. They replaced Hugo Savinovich with Marcelo like 5 years ago, and he tries to play a more heelish role but the banter with Carlos isn't good at all.

 

So yeah, Spanish commentary isn't very good either but for completely different readons than the US one.

 

Also, they've never been micro managed as Cole and others. Or at least you can't really notice it because they are always saying shit that make it seem they have a lot of freedom.

Steve Keirn was pretty good. Maybe not as Skinner but he was better than anyone on the pre-show heel team.

The eyeblack under the eyes is a tribute to Nikki Sixx's eyeblack from the early Crue days, which comes from Peter Criss' eyeblack in KISS.

 

If I was ever to be a wrestler, I would actually dress very similar to Ziggler so I really want to like him, but God does he wrestle exactly the opposite of the way I think someone should.

he was depressingly shit as Skinner ending up jobbing to Virgil on house shows. Plus his match with Bret at This Tuesday in Texas is possibly the worst PPV match of Harts career

I usually enjoy the reaction shows as everyone gets a say. But the last part, where Johnny was trying to get across his liking of the Sheamus MITB cash in, only to be shot down at every turn with comments along the line of Ýou're a fucking idiot' made me sour on listening to future reaction shows.

 

I would have thought differing opinions would be welcome, so it sparks debate. It just became a total mess and not worth giving time to when there are so many other pods out there.
