RCS1988
Listening to the show now.
RCS1988
Well I listened, and you passed, so you will get a donation from me in December. If you did accept the buy out, it meant you could no longer run the site, but Dibiase would be in charge in telling the staff that didn't sell out what to do, like bark like a dog every 30 seconds during a podcast. mprice
Just needed to correct that Piper/Valentine AND Magnum/Tully were for the US Title so it would repeat titles.
goodhelmet
Arrrrgggghhhhh!!! Â Wait, are we sure it was for the title? Valentine didn't lose the belt until December against Dick Slater but Piper won the Dog Collar Match.
El Boricua
The Dog Collar Match was non-title.
JerryvonKramer
Are you sure Magnum vs. Tully was for the US title? Â I have been watching the build on the shows uploaded to WWE Network and Bob Giegel would not sanction the match. Jim Crockett Jr. steps in to book the match but since Giegel was the NWA President, doesn't that mean the title wasn't on the line?
Johnny Sorrow
Keep watching.
JerryvonKramer
I mean he obviously slings the US belt over his shoulder doesn't he ... I'm wondering how that decision by Giegel gets overturned.
Johnny Sorrow
It's as simple as Crockett said it's a title match, if I recall. They don't get all deep into fake politics.
JerryvonKramer
I thought Crockett made Giegel seem like a bit of a chump. Tunney wouldn't have stood for it.
mprice
The Dog Collar Match was non-title. Thanks Boricua. I stand corrected.
