So throughout the process, Grimmas has stated he would be open to publishing results using different voting critera. I know a lot of people have come up with suggestions and interesting spins, but they are seemingly scattered throughout the different threads I thought it might be nice to have a centralized thread.

 

My suggestion would be to see what the overall top 100 would look like if only votes for people's top 10 counted, like the actual Sight&Sound poll.

 

I would also ask that Grimmas has already shot down any sort of "PWO Posters Only" list, so it's probably safe not to request something like that, considering that conversation has already happened and doesn't need to be rehashed.

I'd like to see a list ranked by Average Vote. I think Flair would still be number one as he is the only wrestler to get a single-digit average vote, but It'd still be interesting to see.

I went ahead and Excel-magic'd what this would look like. (Ran it so that wrestler had to appear on at least 50 ballots. This eliminated High averages of very low number of ballots)

dang that "top 10 votes only" list is the coolest one! like that seems to give the best "feel" of the tastes of the most active participants? less lucha on that one though, which speaks to Dylan's point about lucha fans not getting behind anyone to the degree that WOS fans get behind Breaks & Grey as a cut above the rest.

I decided to see what would happen if I combined the 2006 and 2016 lists. To accomplish this, I awarded each wrestler a certain number of points based on their ranking on each list (100 points for first place, 99 points for second place, etc., all the way down to 1 point for 100th place) and then added the points together. In the event of a tie, the tiebreak went to who placed highest on the 2016 list. Here's what it would look like:
