soup23
Jindrak and Skipper is a promising tag team. Power Company is about as generic, meathead tag team as you can work up on a CAW mode on a video game. Power Company takes over on Skipper and their offense mostly consists of double sledge shots. It is effective if rudimentary. Hudson on commentary keeps mentioning that he is surprised that Skipper and Jindrak are getting along given Mark’s athletic background. Hot tag is made and Jindrak and Skipper run through a good bit of their offense and win. Both guys look like real strong prospects here. **
Loss
A pretty solid tag, especially considering the experience level of everyone involved. I watch this and wonder if the path for Jindrak to be someone was as a blowjob babyface who they presented as tough when it counted instead of as a heel that was just another face in a stable. Good stuff, and that springboard lariat for the finish was one for the highlight reel.
GSR
Power Company are a couple of compact jacked up twins, while Skipper and Jindrak have clearly sorted out whatever beef that had last month. Jindrak is still doing the basketball gimmick, still looks green, but has a ridiculous vertical leap on him. Power Company with the heat on Elix, including a powerbomb/clothesline combination that Jindrak has to break up the pin for. A second miscommunication in the match sees one of the PC clothesline their partner when they were aiming for Skipper. The two of them argue amongst one another allowing Elix to make the hot tag. Jindrak goes to work on the PC but his punches look horrible. He whips the one member into this partner and tags in Skipper who comes off the top with a springboard dropkick for the win. While referee Mark Johnson was counting the fall, Jindrak hits a springboard clothesline to the other twin. Couldn’t take much from this one. The Power Company were basically buffoon like jobbers and what was the reasoning for Skipper and Jindrak even being a team now? Jindrak is still nothing in the ring, but with his athletic ability and his body, the guy physically looks like a million bucks (he needs a new wardrobe though!). cheapshot
I didn't mind this at all, it had all the ingredients for a good paced TV tag match. Power Company got the heat on Skipper, but looked like geeks with the constant bumping in to each other etc. Still, it held my attention for the duration of the bout. Jindrak is green, but some of his punches were cringe-worthy. Nice to see Elix Skipper land on his feet from a Top Rope Dropkick. *3/
Stiva
An oddly fun little tag match. Power Company are just ridiculous. It looks like a dude walking about with his clone. I know they're twins but there's usually SOME indication of who is who in those teams. Anyway, their offense is generic and their heeling is lame but they know enough comedy and cheating spots to actually be a half-decent heel tag team. Skipper and Jindrak are still pretty green but are two guys with big potential at this point. Jindrak's get-up is lame but he has a fantastic look and shows great agility for a guy his size. Once more, WCW C-shows are the home of solid wrestling.
