Really strong minis action that with more time could have been a classic. I thought this was one of the best versions of a straight spotfest we have seen so far this year. Everything from the floatover arm drags to the incredible array of dives really kept the match moving at a blistering pace. ***1/4

It's here you realize 2000 CMLL as a wrestling promotion can do everything better than everyone. They not only are the best in-ring company in the world, but they are also the most stylistically diverse. Just when you think they've done it all, they give us yet another different type of match. Very good spotfest that I'd love to see in longer form as well. ***1/4

All right, minis! This was perhaps the most classical lucha match we've seen thus far. It had mat exchanges, arm drags, ropework and even a little bit of character work. There were multiple dives and some pretty decent back and forth action. It wasn't entirely smooth as Fierito wasn't the most fluid worker but it was a nice holdover from the classic minis period of '96-97 and it was nice to see some of those names again. Plus it had two falls end on a count out which is pretty rare in lucha.

First look at the CMLL minis in 2000. Solid stuff with some great dives. Dragoncito is so fluid at those. The interesting thing to me is all 4 of these guys are still around in the failing CMLL mini's scene these days. Pierrothito hasn't aged, Ramirez is now Pequeno Olimpico, Fierito is Pequeno Violencia and Dragoncito is still dragoncito.

Scruffy match due to some poorly timed spots but interesting. Hopefully more minis matches show up.
