soup23 Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 A spot show for Toryumon with the action being fine but behind almost all of the hot stuff we have seen from the promotion this year. DK looked better here than in the last match but Tiger Mask was fairly sloppy. The main development here was the continued push of Genki Horiguchi who continues to pick up big wins over Crazy Max. **1/2
Loss Posted May 7, 2017 Report Posted May 7, 2017 Hard to get too much of a feel for 7 minutes of a 20 minute match, but that's all that aired. The match seemed pretty non-descript -- some impressive stuff, but nothing that isn't also done as part of much better matches. Tiger Mask's hot streak comes to an end, as he's back to his ok-but-not-impressive self.
Moonsault Marvin Posted September 9, 2017 Report Posted September 9, 2017 Why was Dragon Kid assaulting the referee? Something must have happened in the first 10 minutes they didn't air. Tiger Mask's flying body presses were off, and it sure makes you appreciate guys that have great ones like Hijo del Santo and Steamboat. The Toryumon matches are starting to fall off in quality, so I hope they pick up in the future.
Edwin Posted December 24, 2017 Report Posted December 24, 2017 Toryumon hasn't lost its step, these matches are just a bunch of matches from smaller shows and thus aren't worked as hard as a match for a bigger venue and bigger event would be. So don't expect the hot finishes and the great Crazy MAX interferences, etc. that make all the other Toryumon matches fun. TARU is by far the worse of the Toryumon guys we've seen and he's heavily involved here and it drags whenever he's in. This is rather forgettable.
