sek69
As I recall, Doug Gilbert was fired pretty much as soon as he walked out of camera range and Jerry Lawler had to beg the station not to cancel their program for having a guy talk about smoking crack and raping 13 year olds on what I believe was still a Saturday morning TV show. Of course, wrestling being as carny as it is, Doug was back working with Lawler (and Brian Christopher) as late as 2003.

Al
Sheik & Sabu vs. Onita & Goto - Fire Match Just a bizarre match where the participants are forced to abandon the ring a minute into the match because they used WAY too much fire.

Yeah, the Sheik suffered really horrible burns on that one. How old would the Sheik be in 92? He'd have to be in his late 60s/early 70s I think. Guest Josh
I *think* Sheik was 78 when he died in January 2003, but I could be wrong. But yeah, I think he wrestled into his 70s. He was still on FMW shows into 1995/6, wasn't he?
Mad Dog
Looking it up he would've been 66 for that match.
Al
Sheik wrestled a match in ECW in 1994, at the age of 68. I'm sure he was in a few even after that.

Guest Primo Matarazzo
One of the best matches ever. NJPW vs a House! If I walked by a house and I saw Liger coming down a ladder behind some guy pulling his trunks off, I wouldn't know whether to faint, mark out or call Loss. The smirk Shiek's lawyer is wearing when he "swears revenge" on his "adversary" Hacksaw Jim Duggan for getting him busted with cocaine and marijuana is priceless.
