Loss
I'm leaning strongly toward setting up an eBay-like section of the site for people to buy, trade, sell, and catalog original (no duplications of copyrighted work) wrestling merchandise and memorabilia. Think Discogs. eBay pockets 10% of their transactions. I'd only ask for 5%. I'm starting this thread to gauge the interest level.
Beast
I've been on magazine buying sprees in the past and with something like this I'd probably buy even more.
SPS
That sounds pretty cool, I'd be up for it.
AstroBoy
Yeah I think this is a good idea.
G. Badger
I used to buy/sell on eBay quite a bit privately and currently work in ecommerce. So, having a place on the new site to buy/sell/trade wrestling items would be great. You've got a built in market plus we have a legitimate community feel as opposed to eBay. So, there should be less hesitation in both the quality of goods and the buyer/seller. Also, I think most of us have memorabilia that we got during a "phase" and wouldn't mind parting with now. It would see a good home here as opposed to eBay where the thought of it being sold to a reseller is pretty prevalent.
Mad Dog
I would probably use it as I am currently downsizing a lot of my DVDs.
G. Badger
Yeah the DVD stuff would be a big one for me. I go through old ROH phases for instance
Zoo Enthusiast
I like to wear old wrestling shirts somewhat ironically. To the point where I cruise the black tshirt rack at my local thrift shops every month or so for 90’s shirts. So I hope people sell those.
