I am absolutely loving you turning Nikita into the unstoppable force that he needs to be. I always wanted to see him get the Ivan Drago build clear to the top.

Wendi Richter and the S.S.T. may be the strangest combination of all time, but having Albano as the manager somehow makes it work!

Super Sunday is looking absolutely stacked!

The people of Cleveland got a treat here!

The way you write a show makes it seem so simple.  It just flows perfectly.  When I sit town to write, I have no idea where I am going.

Like Captain Lou getting off to a rolling start with all of his wrestlers

The 6 Man Tag Match would have blown the roof of the arena

Hall makes a great House Show challenger for Dibiase... every thinks he has a real shot

Rich with Missing Link... that must be some car ride to the arena

The match with Mr. Olympia goes a long way to helping him get some real credibility with his new fan base.

Olympia wastes no time and gets in the ring with some stiff competition and takes Jumbo to the limit.

I know that grudge tag match was insane!

The Destroyers try and soften up RnR before their unification showdown. That's going to be a classic.

Richter and Kai are certainly no strangers to each other. Richter moves up the rankings with the win.

Seeing Flair teaming with Dusty and Wahoo against the  Russians is so awesome. I'm sure this isn't over.

I have to give it up to Scott Hall. He takes Dibiase past the 30 minute mark. I wonder if Dibiase was looking past Hall and was to focused on his upcoming match with Flair. This could be a career turning match for Hall.

(Larry Nelson is joined in the interview area by 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair)

flair16x20-medium.jpg

Nelson: "Naitch, tomorrow night you get your shot at the AWA World Heavyweight Champion, Ted Dibiase…."

Flair: "WOOOOOO! Larry Nelson…..tomorrow night Ted Dibiase gets a dose of reality…..after the disrespect he showed my friend Ray Stevens….I can't wait to get my hands on him and not only teach him some respect but to take that AWA World Heavyweight Championship and show everybody why….the Nature Boy….is the man…WOOOO!"

(As Nelson gets ready to ask another question, Percival Pringle III enters the frame)

PP3.jpg

Nelson: "Umm, Percy Pringle……I'm not sure what you are doing out here but as you can see, this is Ric Flair's time."

PP3: "First of all, you DO NOT call me Percy….you will refer to me as Percival Pringle, the third! Second of all…I realize this is Mr. Flair's time…that's why I'm out here to speak to Mr. Flair.  You see Mr. Flair, there's no doubt that you are one of the greatest wrestlers in the world today…bar none!  There's only one thing you're missing….and you're looking at him!"

Flair: "With all due respect, Mr. Pringle…..I don't think a fat man with bleach blond hair and a thrift store suit is what I'm missing….now if you'll excuse me I've got a World Championship match tomorrow."  (Flair goes to leave but Pringle steps in front of him)

PP3: "Hold on Mr. Flair, I'm going to excuse and forgive that disrespect….this one time….but what I'm well aware you have a shot at the World Championship tomorrow…..and what I'm telling you is if you join my Pringle Dynasty, you WILL walk out of St. Paul the AWA World Champion.  However, if you make the mistake of blowing me off or disrespecting me again….I promise you….you won't!"

Flair: "Listen here PERCY…..I don't take kindly to threats and I don't have time for you or your foolishness right now….so I'm once again going to step around you and if you get your fat butt in my way again…..I'm going to knock you on it….understand?" (Flair steps around Pringles and exits the interview area)

PP3: "That's fine…..good luck 'Nature Boy'…..you'll wish you had a manager when Ted Dibiase beats you like the second rate phony you really are."

Nelson: "Let's get back to the ring."

=============================

Match #2:

Mr. Olympia pinned Randy Watson following a DDT

MrOlympiaWinner.jpg

(Post Match: Ken Resnick joins Mr. Olympia at ringside)

Resnick: "Mr. Olympia, you've wrestled all over the country and let me be the first to welcome you here to the AWA."

Olympia: "I'm very excited to be here, some of the very best athletes in the wrestling world compete here in the AWA and I look forward to stepping in the ring with some of them very soon."

Resnick: "In fact you've already started, you recently went to a 20 minute time limit draw with Jumbo Tsuruta one of the top heavyweight wrestlers from Japan. I understand you will be facing him again soon in a rematch that will have a 30 minute time limit."

Olympia: "That's right, Jumbo Tsuruta is as tough as they come, and hopefully this time with 30 minutes to compete instead of only 20, I'll be able to pull out a victory."

Resnick: "Well, we certainly wish you the best of luck against not only Jumbo Tsuruta but against all the competition here in the AWA."

Olympia: "Thanks Ken."

Match #5:

MAIN EVENT

The Missing Link vs. "Dirty" Dick Slater

This was absolutely the wildest brawl to take place on AWA Championship Television yet….they started out brawling in the aisle before either man ever made it into the ring so the referee couldn't stop the match because it hadn't started yet….after a few minutes of brawling around ringside and hitting each other with chairs, finally Slater rolled into the ring…..followed by Link allowing for the referee to finally ring the bell and officially start the match…..after a few more minutes of hard hitting action the Missing Link nailed Slater with a "battering ram" headbutt and covered Slater for the 1-2-3!!

MissingLink.jpg

Trongard: "Big win for the Missing Link! Tune tomorrow right here on EPSN as we bring you Super Sunday from St. Paul, Minnesota!"

Great show.... as a kid, I couldn't tell if I disliked the AWA or the WWF more!  Well that has all changed now as they are two of my favorite things to read about.

I think Flair should have thought more about taking PP3 up on his deal.  Win the title and then he could have fired him.  Now... the unexpected is the expected!

YES!  Policy Academy II will be out next week!  I wish I could get out now and see anything!  This lock down in New York is killing me.

Stan Hansen... Havoc is coming to the AWA... wonder if he will win the belt someday and then toss it in the trash

Verne still has the power here as The High Flyers go over PYT!  Wonder how your supreme ability as a booker can control Verne!

Link over Slater!  Need to keep our eyes on this one!

With Captain Lou guiding them, the SST might have some gold soon.

Oh man things just got really interesting as Flair and Percy oh I mean Percival have words. Flair better watch his back tomorrow night.

Olympia makes his televised debut and is already involved in a pretty big program with Jumbo.

Watch out AWA because Stan Hansen is coming!!!

LOL, Police Academy 2. I actually saw that in the theater. Speaking of movies, in just a few months Rocky 4 will hit the theaters. The AWA could capitalize on that with Nikita.

High Flyers are on a roll and get a big TV win over the PYT's.

Man, Link and Slater take the TV show to a new level as they have one heck of a fight. Link wins this one but I have a feeling Slater will be back for more.

Super Sunday has been built up so well. A lot is going to go down.

A good S.S.T. squash match is a great way to start any show.

The Flair/Percy interaction was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see who Pringle brings against The Nature Boy.

Olympia should be able to have a nice run here. A nice tussle with Tsuruta should get him over nicely.

The Lariat coming in to tear shit up! That should be good fun!!

Poor PYT's having to put over the bosses kid.....

Slater and Link is an odd feud to be sure, but I bet they are some hellacious brawls!

Looking forward to Super Sunday. Should be a good one!

Hansen: "Shut your damn mouth Mr. Microphone man…..These people know who I am…and just know this….I'm here in the AWA to make money…..I'm not here to make friends…and I don't care if you fans cheer me or boo me…..I'm here to get paid….and the people who get paid the most are the ones with those pretty little belts around their waist…..so I'm putting everybody in the AWA on notice….if you hold a title….Stan Hansen is coming for you!"

==============================

(Luscious Johnny V joins Trongard and Blears on commentary….he says he takes issue with Captain Lou because he has a tag team that's coming to the AWA and the Samoan Swat Team better steer clear of them….but more importantly, he has signed Sherri Martel to a contract and if Wendi Richter is smart, she'll go right back where she came from!)

Masks vs. Dusty Leaving the AWA

"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes pinned Mr. USA, the Olympic Grappler w/The Marvelous Masked Manager after a DDT

Post Match: Dusty got on the mic and told Mr. USA and the Marvelous Masked Manager to keep their word and remove those masks or he'll remove them for them.  After a few moments of hesitation….Mr. USA removed his mask to reveal Brad Rheingans to the surprise of pretty much no one at all…..Marvelous Masked Manager reaches up and starts to unlace his mask but then turns to run away but is caught in the aisle by Rheingans who brings him back in the ring to Rhodes…..Rhodes starts to untie the mask and right as he's about to remove the mask…..Nikita Koloff, Ivan Koloff, Krusher Kruschev, Ken Patera, and JIMMY HART all hit the ring and attack Rhodes and Rheingans….the Masked Manager runs away as Jimmy Hart runs around the ring like a madman wearing a red suit with a big yellow hammer and sickle on the back wearing a big furry Russian Hat! Patera and Kruschev focus on beating down Rheingans while the Koloffs choke Rhodes with their chain……Ken Resnick comes down to ringside and asks Jimmy Hart to come speak to him…which seemingly ends the attack on Rhodes and Rheingans.

JimmyHart.png

ken-patera_large.jpg

koloffs.jpg

Resnick: "Jimmy Hart, what the heck is going on here…..people have speculated for months that YOU have been the Marvelous Masked Manager….and now just as it seemed that was about to be revealed here you are with Patera and the Russians?? What's going on here?"

Hart: "First of all….let me just say this is the greatest day of my life baby…..and you can just call me the 'Mouth of Moscow', baby!" (cackles)

Resnick: "If not you……then who was the Marvelous Masked Manager??"

Hart: "How should I know baby? It certainly wasn't me…are you kidding me? That guy was a clown…a goof….that's why we chose tonight to show up baby…..We KNEW that masked idiot couldn't get the job done and certainly not with Brad Rheingans under a mask being his master plan….you see the Russians here….they've already been running rough shod all over the AWA, baby and now with myself leading them and the addition of 'Comrade' Ken Patera….we can't be stopped!"

Resnick: "Comrade Ken Patera? So, first you sold out your country to be a Sheik, and now you've joined up with the Russians??"

Patera: "Ken Resnick…..this will be the only time you get a pass for that sort of disrespect….next time I'll lock you in a full nelson until your head pops off!"

Hart: (laughing) "That's right Ken Resnick, you show this man some respect….this is the greatest collection of athletes in wrestling today….we've got the World Tag Team titles….soon we'll be coming for the rest!"

=======================================

COMMERCIALS- Busch Beer: "Head for the Mountains"

Semi-Main Event

AWA World Tag Team Championship

The Russians (Nikita/Kruschev) w/Jimmy Hart & Ivan Koloff defeated The High Flyers (Gagne/Brunzell) when Nikita pinned Gagne after the 'Russian Sickle'

========================================

(Ken Resnick is in the dressing room with Dusty Rhodes and Brad Rheingans who are both bandaged up from the beating at the hands of the Russians)

Resnick: "Dream, I have to say these are very strange circumstances to see you here in the dressing with the man you did battle with here earlier tonight."

Rhodes: "Strange circumstances you say…..well lemme tell ya somethin' Ken Resnick…..I would call having Jimmy Hart run into the ring as I'm about to pull the mask off a man I was positive was Jimmy Hart…..strange circumstances.  I'd call having a man who was once an Olympian for these very United States come in with a gang of Russians calling himself 'Comrade'….strange circumstances if you will……so yes sitting here with Brad Rheingans whom less than a hour ago I was doing battle with, now sitting here contemplating how WE are going to get revenge on these Russians….strange circumstances……but lemme tell ya this….I've fought this man, I trust this man…and so that being said, baby….we're layin' out a challenge if you will…..not for next month….not for next year……we are layin at out a challenge for next week on television……myself, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes, and the Olympian himself Brad Rheingans….against the Russians for them World Tag Team titles….and if we lose the match….WE'LL BOTH leave the AWA…..so it's nut cuttin time you understand?…..put up or shut up…..all on the line….right here on ESPN! Jimmy Hart, do your boys have the guts?"

Resnick: "I understand that Larry Nelson has just entered the locker room of the Russians in hopes of getting a response."

(cuts to Larry Nelson in the Russians' locker room)

Nelson: "Thanks Ken, I'm here with Jimmy Hart and his crew…..Jimmy, did you hear the challenge from 'the American Dream' Dusty Rhodes and Brad Rheingans?"

Hart: (laughing) "Are you kidding me? Of course we did, baby! I told you earlier this was the greatest day of my life but when we run Dusty Rhodes and Brad Rheingans out of the AWA THAT will truly be the greatest day of my life!"

Ivan: "Dusty Road…you are truly a very stupid man….after the beating we put on you every time you have encountered us…..you are willing to put your career on the line….well Dusty Road….and Brad Ragin we will be more than happy to rid ourselves of both you."

Patera: "Alright Nelson, get the hell out of here….we've got celebrating to do.

========================================

Main Event

AWA World Championship

Ted Dibiase

Vs.
"Nature Boy" Ric Flair

The match starts out pretty hot due to the recent issues between Dibiase/Flair involving Ray Stevens….within the first few minutes, Percival Pringle III comes to ringside and Flair tells him to "get lost"…..Pringle sits down and seems to be taking notes……A lot of great back and forth action for 27 minutes until Flair gets the upper hand and locks in the figure four leglock…..Pringle gets up on the apron and calls over the referee….while the ref is distracted, from out of nowhere BUDDY LANDEL slides in and hits Flair with his corkscrew elbow drop then quickly rolls out and heads up the aisle……Dibiase crawls over and covers Flair for the 1--2--3!!  Pringle quickly leaves ringside as Dibiase rolls out of the ring and gets his belt seemingly unaware of everything that just took place with Pringle and Landel…..Flair struggles to get back to his feet trying to figure what exactly just happened….

Trongard: "Lord James Blears, this leaves us with some questions…..was Pringle really trying to recruit Ric Flair before or was it always his intention to bring this other 'Nature Boy'…….Buddy Landel in all along??"

Blears: "Not to mention, was Dibiase a part of this?  Is he associated with Pringle or Landel? A lot of questions to be answered here."

Trongard: "Join us next weekend for AWA Championship Wrestling where we'll hopefully be able to shed some light on all this controversy! Thank you fans for joining us for Super Sunday!"

This is an extremely prestigious show to be shown on ESPN. I think when you go top to bottom in 1985 you've got some of the biggest names in all of wrestling. Obviously with flair and Dibiase that would sell out anywhere with the right build. I think you add in the other pieces of a Dusty Rhodes Ken patera and the Russians and you've got a real great mix of talent that would be well known in the AWA area to keep it as one of the top promotions in the world. I'm interested to see how you use Hanson compared to how he was used in real life around this time and to see if there's going to be somebody ala Curt Hennig who can be a pet project to build up over the course of your time with this promotion.

Outback Jack makes his anticipated debut and is victorious.

SST are making some serious noise now with a victory over the PYT's. I wonder who Johnny V is bringing in?

Rich unifies the titles but Sawyer gives him a post match beating. I'm so glad this feud is continuing.

All is right in the AWA as RnR unify the tag titles. RnR will draw some big money here.

Oh wow the USFL! Yep this is the 80s.

Sherri wins the AWA Woman's title! Man I cant wait for the Sherri/Richter dream match.

Watch out darlings because the Universal Heartthrob is coming!

What a wild end to a story and even a wilder beginning to a new story. I was shocked when Jimmy Hart came out with the Russians. Just who was the MMM?? We may never know. The Mouth of Moscow has one dangerous stable with the Russians and Patera. Dusty lays down the challenge for next week. Damn this was great!

Awesome night for the Russians as they take down the High Flyers.

As if all that wasn't enough, we get a crazy ending as Landel drops the corkscrew elbow and ruins Flair's chances at the title. This is so cool because this game is finally going to get the long awaited battle of the Nature Boys!!!!! Thank you Gene!

We'll see how Dibiase reacts to all this. I'll defiantly be tuning in next week.

Super job!

WOW... That was one great show from top to bottom.  Great use of your roster as you kept us on our toes throughout the entire show.  As Dusty said, there were a lot of strange circumstances which truly made this show a great read!

Stan Hansen is going to be a force.

Your ending was the most peaceful ending to a Rich/Sawyer match... Rich simple puts his knees up as Sawyer crashed down on him and then Wildfire rills him up.  That is until Sawyer goes nuts... Can't wait for more!

RnR Wxpress and Sheri will make great champs!

And then the chaos starts.... Wait... Jimmy Hart is not the man behind the mask?  Then who is?  Dusty sitting with the man he just fought?  Comrade Patera?  A Loser-Leave Town Match for the belts, Next WEEK!  WOW!  I am hooked

I knew from the previous show that PP3 would be a problem for Flair... Never thought it would be the other "Nature Boy."  I must admit that I am excited for the next show.  The work you did with Landell in Continental last year was one of the highlights of our first year.

Great work

Tie Me Kangaroo Down!! Outback Jack just snuffed The Flame!!

Hansen sends out a warning to anyone with a belt, and those guys had best be real nervous.

P.Y.T. do the J.O.B. to the S.S.T. on the ESPN!!!

Tommy Rich picks up the win and two belts against Buzz Sawyer, then takes a beating from Sawyer. The feud will continue, and that means Hansen is looking for him. Worst title win ever for Tommy.

Love the Super D's, but the Rock and Roll's unifying the belts is definitely the right call here. Ricky and Robert are THE team in 1985, and I am sure you have big plans for them.

Sherri picks up the win and the title! I see a dominant run coming for Miss Martel if she can get past Wendi Richter.

Wow, what a cluster we have here!! Dusty gets the win and unmasks Rheingans to the surprise of literally no one. Then he gets gang raped by The Russians, Ken Patera, and Jimmy Hart as the MMM who was obviously never Jimmy Hart (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more) disappears into the night.  That is quite a stable that Jimmy has put together, and spells big trouble for the AWA.

Then the Russians put away little Greg Gagne to make me like them even more!

Then we get some classic Dusty as he aligns with the man he just finished feuding with to go after the Russians. Love It!!

Flair/Dibiase delivers, then gets cut off when Buddy Landell shows up to show Flair who the real Nature Boy is!! Percy warned him!! The work you did with Buddy in Continental was some of my favorite stuff in this game. This is going to be amazing.

Awesome show!!

Alberto is back! If him and Slater join forces that means a lot of trouble for the AWA.

Hall and Hennig show some toughness as they take the SST to a draw.

Once again Rich gets the win but Sawyer gets the last word.

Wild 8 man tag. Hart better be careful because Nikita doesn't like to lose.

Dibiase continues his winning ways with a nice win over Jumping Jim.

Nice show for people of Detroit!

Great tag match early in the card.  Will be interesting to see if either team gets a big push as they could both be championship quality

I like who you make each match seem special.  Makes the fans feel like they are getting their money's worth.  From the grudge match to the Lady's Championship Match to the Belt on a Pole Match, etc...

Nice push for the Women's DIvision

Rich and Sawyer is building to something big

Is Nikita going to last with Jimmy Hart... will be interesting to see

Nelson: "My guests at this time are none other than Percival Pringle the third and the 'Nature Boy' Buddy Landel."

BuddyLandelRobe.jpg

Landel: "Larry Nelson, despite the fact you look like you should be a cashier at the local Pep Boys I'm none the less impressed that you got Mr. Pringle's name right and didn't call him Percy, so for now….you're on my good side."

Nelson: "I'm thrilled to hear that Mr. Landel, but let's talk about what everyone wants to hear…..why did you interfere on Ted Dibiase's behalf at Super Sunday?"

Landel: "Wow…and in record time you completely ruined it by jumping right to that….what type of journalist are you? You couldn't ask a few ice breaker questions before diving into that topic?"

Nelson: "Ok….fine….what brings you to the AWA, Mr. Landel?"

Landel: "Your ignorance knows no bounds Larry Nelson, are you sure your last name isn't really Platt?  What brings me to the AWA? Umm, you mean besides the fact that I'm MR. AWA?? Where else would I be? Should I be in the NWA where they have a big walking mustache as a World Champion?  Should I be in the WWF where they've got a psychotic Howdy Doody as champion? I guess I should've went back to the USWA to get screwed by the so called King and Jerky Jarrett?"

Nelson: "Alright Buddy, we don't need a run down of every territory you could've went to…."

Landel: "Oh I can tell….I'm NOT going to like you at all. Fine, I'll answer you're damn question…I didn't interfere on Dibiase's behalf….I interfered AGAINST Ric Flair…..the bogus wannabe 'Nature Boy'….what better way to make my presence felt than to interfere in his match…..not that Ted Dibiase needed it because he would've beaten Flair anyway…" (The theme from 2001 plays)

Nelson: "Well speaking of Mr. Ric Flair…..here he comes right now."

(Flair comes down the aisle to a huge pop from the fans)

RicFlairRedRobe.jpg

Landel: "Flair, this is MY time…what the hell are you doing out here?" (Flair snatches the mic away)

Flair: "Tropicana….it's time for the real NATURE BOY to set the record straight….WOOOOOOO!  Buddy Landel, you know damn good and well that I heard every word you said about me down in Continental last year and when you heard I was coming there…..you suddenly disappeared.  You ran away to the USWA to hide…..NOW you suddenly want my attention again, Budro? Well now you have it…..you cost me the AWA World Heavyweight Championship last week and if you thought we're going to play some game of cat and mouse where you come out here week after week after week running your mouth about the real Nature Boy, pal you've got another thing coming…..I'm out here right now to challenge you to a match right here on television next week!! So put up or shut up! You either face me here next week one on one….or take your low budget Ric Flair wannabe act to one of those other companies you just mentioned." (Pringle steps in)

PPwhitesuit.jpg

PP3: "Ric Flair, you've got a lot of nerve to come out here and trash talk 'Mr. AWA' Buddy Landel.  You aren't half the Nature Boy that Buddy Landel is and what makes you think you can just challenge him for a match here on television next week?"

Flair: "I wasn't talking to you, fat boy so keep your mouth shut! Listen Landel, we can have a wrestling match next week…..or better yet, how about I just kick your ass right now! (starts taking off his robe)

Landel: "Settle down Richard, I'll be more than happy to wrestle you next week….and give you the ol' rub as they say in the business that clearly YOU are so desperately looking for,  Just promise me this Flair, promise me that we can face each other one on one and settle this like men…..no interference from any of your buddies….don't have the fat Indian out here….or whatever friends you have left after the Russians get done with them tonight."

Flair: "I promise you Buddy, I don't need help from anyone to kick your ass……you tell Percy here to keep his fat butt in a seat and watch me give you the wrestling lesson of a lifetime! WOOOOO!"

Match #4:

Curt Hennig/Scott Hall defeated Frank Reynolds/Buster Scruggs when Hennig pinned Scruggs with a sunset flip from the 2nd rope……..As the referee is raising the hands of Hennig and Hall, Percy Pringle returns to ringside and starts badmouthing Hennig/Hall…..As Hennig and Hall lean over the rope and ask him what his problem is……from behind come….

LongRiders.jpg

THE LONG RIDERS- Bill/Scott Irwin hit the ring and attacks Hennig and Hall from behind….they get the better of them for a few moments, but quickly Hall and Hennig make a comeback and the Irwins powder out and join Pringle out on the floor as they leave ringside while talking trash to Hennig/Hall.

==============================

(Ken Resnick is joined by Buzz Sawyer who is wearing the AWA North American Championship belt…he says he sold the other two belts since they are "retired" now but he's quite sure Tommy Rich isn't man enough to take this North American belt from him so that makes him the champion by default)

Match #6:

MAIN EVENT

AWA World Tag Team Titles vs. Rhodes/Rheingans leaving the AWA

The Russians (Ivan/Nikita Koloff) w/Jimmy Hart & Krusher Kruschev defeated "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes/"Olympian" Brad Rheingans when Nikita pinned Rheingans after a 'Russian Sickle'……and then….ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!

After the match Nikita hit Dusty with the sickle and wrapped the chain around his neck and started choking him relentlessly….to the point that even Jimmy Hart started to get uncomfortable and tried to get Nikita to let go, screaming "you won baby! This isn't necessary!"  Nikita finally listened and let go of Rhodes….he then wrapped the chain around Jimmy Hart's neck and hung him over the top rope!!  Ken Patera came running down to try and save him but was cut off by Ivan and Kruschev!! They beat down on Patera until Nikita noticed and let go of Jimmy Hart allowing him to fall limp to the floor….Ivan/Krusher hold up Patera and Nikita runs through him with the 'Russian Sickle' as well…as he wraps the chain around Patera's neck……Verne Gagne comes down with several police officers to break things up…..before they make it into the ring, Rod Trongard informs us, "We're out of time, we'll bring you the outcome of this intense situation right here next week on ESPN!"

Johnny V is quietly putting together a nice little stable. Interested to see who his next guy is gonna be.

Verne better give The Lariat what he wants, or Hansen might be inclined to hurt little Greg... that would be a terrible shame.

Awesome segment with Landel/Flair. You haven't missed a beat writing Landel, and I can't wait to see what kind of chicanery goes down next week!

Who was that in the ring with Patera?

Oh Shit, Percy and The Long Riders! I like it!! Great pairing.

Buzz daring Rich to come get his title is just going to lead to more blood. Looking forward to it.

The less said about Dino Bravo the better.

Well, God Damn...that's how you close a TV show. Nikita sends Dusty and Rheingans packing, murders Jimmy Hart and Ken Patera, and then...WE'RE OUTTA TIME!!

It would appear that the Russian Nightmare is about to make life in the AWA unhappy for a lot of people.

Great show that has left me wanting more.

I Your interview abilities are priceless and I am excited to see you work with Landell and Madril again.

Flair vs Landell is something I have been waiting for since last year and now I can' wait

Johnny V and PP3 are great fits for you.

Sawyer and Rich continues to build!

Wow... if Rhodes leaving wasn't enough... the Main event goes wild and we get so much more.  Could Jimmy Hart be a babyface against the Nikita?  We will soon find out!

Hennig and Hall vs the Long Riders could be a wild ride!

I hope Verne doesn't get back to Hansen to soon.  I want to see him beat some people!

Johnny  V brings in the California Connection. Tatum and Embry are perfect for Johnny.

Dibiase might be a bit worried with Stan Hansen coming after him.

Mr. AWA is back! Your Landel promo was awesome! I loved this entire segment and it went to an even higher level when Flair came out. I have been waiting a long time for the Nature Boys feud and now we're going to get it. Cant wait for next week. This is freak'n great!

As always I love the commercials. Keep them going LOL.

Hall/Hennig versus the Long Riders should be a hard hitting match up.

LOL, Sawyer coming out with Rich's title was good stuff. I busted up when Sawyer said he sold the retired belts.

Good grief what an ending! That was insane! Not only does Nikita send Dusty packing but he goes crazy and hangs Hart with his chain. To top it off Verne comes out with the police. That was wild! I thought Stan Hansen was nuts but Nikita might have surpassed him.

The AWA is must see TV! Great job!

Nice set of house shows here.

So many of the people coming in to TV were introduced to the fans first this week.  This is a nice touch.

AWA either has some flu or car issues... a few people didn't make their matches... I wonder if this is something to keep an eye on.

Like how we either get Sheri Martel or Wendy Richter.... eventually we will get both!

Flair and Dibiase would be as could as it gets!

I'm sure the fans weren't to upset about Outback Jack when Rocky Johnson was announced as his sub.

Chicky Starr and Al Madril could be a very entertaining duo.

Fuji could take Jumbo all the way to the top.

The fans sure got their money's worth on that Dibiase/Flair match.

Landel isn't afraid to bend the rules as he starts off on the winning track.

I cant wait for that inevitable Sherri/Richter match.

Hansen and Wahoo are 2 of the toughest so of course they brawl to a no contest.

Slater subbing for Sawyer works out well because it only makes the fans want to see Rich/Sawyer even more.

Somebody is going to have to take that chain away from the Russians LOL.

Great couple of house shows. Always something exciting happening.
