hammerva Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 Since it has been announced as a Bloodline rules match, the chances of seeing Reigns tonight has to be even greater. Also nobody how hard the WWE wants people to make Logan Paul the "hometown hero", the crowd reaction is going to be the complete opposite. It would be completely stupid for LA to lose tonight so I full expect it to happen.
sek69 Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 The segment on Smackdown seemed pretty clear they see Logan as the heel who won't even get cheered in his hometown. I think it's pretty clear LA Knight is winning, and I'd wager it's probably going to be the opener to kick the show off on a high note.
Coffey Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 I resubbed to Peacock for SummerSlam. So I guess modern WWE is more of a draw for me than the Olympics. Although admittedly, there's things on Peacock, like The Office, that my wife wanted as well, so it's fine. I'm hoping that Roman Reigns returns tonight. That story is enthralling to me. Priest/Gunther & Punk/McIntyre should be fun, too.
sek69 Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 They've done a pretty good job up and down the card making every match at least somewhat interesting. Even Bayley/Nia has the subtext of if Tiffy is going to cash in on the winner or not.
sek69 Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 Once again I must point out how great Big E is on these kickoff shows.
sek69 Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 Jelly Roll seems like a cool dude to bs about wrestling with.
hammerva Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 That drummer's mullet would have gotten him a title reign in about 20% of the territories in 1985
KawadaSmile Posted August 3, 2024 Author Report Posted August 3, 2024 Dude made it big in the US with a stage name like that. He absolutely could rock on some territories.
KawadaSmile Posted August 3, 2024 Author Report Posted August 3, 2024 The stadium is losing their minds. Very good stuff.
KawadaSmile Posted August 3, 2024 Author Report Posted August 3, 2024 YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO
sek69 Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 Trading in Rhea for Liv seems like a fumble imo, but that was a great opener
KB8 Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 Hell of an opener with an absolutely tremendous nearfall. Rhea v Dom will outdraw Andre/Hogan from the Silverdome.
hammerva Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 I love that Dominik actually did the smart thing by preventing Rhea from using the chair to avoid the DQ only do then screw Rhea again with the same chair.
sek69 Posted August 3, 2024 Report Posted August 3, 2024 It was a forgone conclusion, Bron had a 141 2/3rds chance of winning.
sek69 Posted August 4, 2024 Report Posted August 4, 2024 LOL Logan found the one person more douchey than he is, I love it.
