kevinmcfl Posted November 13 Report Posted November 13 Vader is on fire! Enjoying the power struggle between the WWF and Bad News Brown. It might be more fun of the WWF picks his team.
spaldoni Posted November 13 Report Posted November 13 Bad News is totally in character of being a loner. I love the ultimatum Tatanka and Z Man could be the stars that shine in 91 The SS is really heating up. Each elimination match means something. The promos have done a really good job of hyping it up. At this point in their careers, it makes sense for Snuka and Andre to team up. They're legends and could have one last big hurrah Damn! Vader's the man! I can't imagine who's going to want to step up to him.
ErictheDragon Posted November 19 Report Posted November 19 Today's show is all about hyping Survivor Series this Sunday with every match showing off someone in the big elimination matches. Frenchy Martin shows off his latest charge "The Canadian Roughneck" Kerry Brown who clobbers some pencil neck. The Killer Bees look as sharp as ever. Berzerker damn near kicks some poor saps face off. We get final conformation of the Survivor Series teams and it's confirmed that Bad New Brown has FAILED to provide a list of teammates meaning his team will be decided for him. Feature Match sees Tito Santana take on Dick Murdoch which ends in a total shitshow as their respective teammates get involved. The Outlaws have a 4-3 advantage until Dusty Rhodes returns to a MASSIVE pop and he has straight for Funk. Show ends with security frantically trying to separate the teams to protect the main event for this Sunday. Survivor Series Full Card. kevinmcfl Posted November 20 Report Posted November 20 Survivor Series is looking awesome. I might announce some of Bad News' teammates in some special show or commercial. Maybe get some last minute sales. Same with who will face Fugi's Clan.
spaldoni Posted November 20 Report Posted November 20 Survivor Series is stacked! I love all the feuds going on which makes SS a must see.
ErictheDragon Posted November 22 Report Posted November 22 Though the WWF announced a number of surprise entrants for a pair of matches at the upcoming Survivor Series, adverts through-out the WWF's touring area would end up spoiling the surprises by naming the mystery competitors in advance though rarely ll of them in the same area. Some fans learn that Bad News Brown's partners will consist of Koko B Ware, Tom Zenk, Ranger Ross & Tugboat while others learn that The Fuji-Clan's open challenge on the Free for All before the main show will be answered by Jimmy Snuka, Andre the Giant & The Commonwealth!
spaldoni Posted November 23 Report Posted November 23 We'll see if Bad News can coexist with his partners or will he just want to take out Slick's men all on his own. Announcing Andre and Snuka was a smart move. I think tickets will be sold just for a chance to see Vader and Andre square off.

Survivors: The Ultimate Warrior & Tito Santana.
spaldoni Posted November 24 Report Posted November 24 Survivor Series! Let's do this! We see some big finishers in the free for all. The highlight for me was Vader's moonsault on Andre. Vader's a made man. Silver King has been on fire and he definitely carried that momentum into this match. Him and Nikolai get the best of the Russians. Lawler and Jake looked really strong and make it to the end. Zenk and Ware showed some good teamwork. Brown gets too caught up with Slick and it costs him. The big men Nailz, Hughes and OMG finish strong and get the win. It took a lot but Kevin outlasts everyone to survive. After all that, sneaky Lawler makes his move and succeeds. It looks like we're going to get the battle of the Kings soon. The 4x4s and Invasion put on a great back and forth fight. Earthquake stands tall as the sole survivor. Funk and Rhodes still have that burning hate for each other. Warrior and Tito end the night on a high note. Really enjoyed the card. It sets a good tone for who's ready to headline in 91. Warrior has rebuilt himself well and looks to be Funk's number one challenger. You also set up another classic Funk/Dusty showdown. A lot of heels went over which gives IC champ Duggan a lot to work with. Great job!

Secondly, all the other survivors in the various elimination matches, Berzerker, Kokina, Vader, Silver King, Nikolai Volkoff, Jake Roberts, Curtis Hughes, Nailz, One Man Gang, Earthquake, Tito Santana & The Ultimate Warrior -all of whom have been automatically entered into the Royal Rumble- will face off in a "Golden Opportunity" battle royal where the winner will earn the right to enter that match at #30!
rainmakerrtv Posted November 27 Report Posted November 27 Love the idea of the Golden Opportunity match, can't wait to see how it goes down.
LowBlowPodcast Posted November 27 Report Posted November 27 Loved the survivor series. I felt like the key was making sure the survivors were in line for something coming up and all your survivors made sense and put themselves above the others. I always thought a battle royal of the winners of the matches with the winner of that getting a WWF title match would be a fun concept. Now putting themselves above in the rumble is great and one of them being number 30 is better. I’m pulling for the Earthquake!
spaldoni Posted November 29 Report Posted November 29 I love that all the SS winners get rewarded with a chance at the coveted number 30 Royal Rumble spot. This is a great idea because it's the perfect segue from Survivor Series to Royal Rumble.
kevinmcfl Posted November 30 Report Posted November 30 Really enjoyed Survivor Series. I wonder how Bad News is going to take the WWF giving him a team that couldn't get the job done! Love King Lawler attacking King Kevin... this should be fun! Great idea with the Golden Opportunity.
ErictheDragon Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 Originally airing 12/3/90 on HBO. Koko B Ware & Tom Zenk pair up in out opener. Good chemistry between them as they get the win. Berzerker ko's some fool then heavens him over the top for a countout win. No Fuji to be seen. Earthquake flattens some no-name, bellowing for Duggan the whole time. Jake Roberts gets some shine. Split screen promo says the key to success is knowing who to strike and when to do it an nobody know such things better than a snake. Kevin Von Erich calls out Jerry Lawler in a firery promo. Says that at SNME he'll knock the paper crown off Lawler's head and show him what a REAL King looks like. Silver King takes on Ivan Koloff. Ivan can't do too much but he gets heat like few others. Big pop for SK when he gets the win via moonsault. Chris Benoit taps someone out to the cross face. Much more aggressive than usual tonight. The Genius gets some TV time to warm him back up. Terry Funk is damn near frothing at the mouth as he rants and raves that coming back to the World Wrestling Federation is the biggest mistake "the fat man" ever made. THis week's feature Match sees Power & Glory go over the Bushwhackers as commentary tells us that they'll be challenging the Ronin for the WWF Tag Team Titles at SNME.
spaldoni Posted December 4 Report Posted December 4 Koko and Zenk make a fun high flying duo. I could see them gaining a following Loved the Berzerker, Earthquake match descriptions Jake always stays relevant with his promos alone Speaking of promos, King Kevin is fired up Man, Silver King has been on a hot streak Benoit getting more ruthless Funk vs, Rhodes, one more time. Let's do it! Power and Glory will be tough challengers for Ronin
LastStopTour Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Report Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM 1990 Ivan Koloff could give you some good stuff in the ring. He just has to be up against someone who better suits his style. A high flying luchador is not it. I'm taking Lawler over Kevin Von Erich all day, every day.
