The blue on the names is entrance themes for my wrestlers. I researched using Cage Match, and every song is a song that the person used in their career, and I made sure the songs were at least made by 1991 if they were songs that required a license to use.

Dick Murdoch Suspended? Ultimate Warrior Return?

 

There was an incident over the weekend involving Dick Murdoch that has caused significant internal issues within the World Wrestling Federation. Murdoch was scheduled to appear at the Worcester, Massachusetts, house show, but ended up no-showing the event without notifying officials in advance.

According to multiple sources, the situation appears to stem from Murdoch reportedly being intoxicated the night of the show at the hotel bar. While details vary by who you ask, the consensus backstage is that Murdoch was in no condition to perform and made no effort to contact the office in advance, which immediately put him in a bad position with management.

The situation escalated once Murdoch resurfaced, as Gerald Brisco, who has been taking on more responsibility in talent relations, confronted him about the absence. The confrontation is said to have become heated, with Murdoch allegedly brushing off the situation and showing little concern for missing the event. That reaction reportedly did not sit well with Brisco or others present.

Word of the incident quickly reached Vince McMahon, who was said to be furious, particularly given the company’s increasing emphasis on professionalism and reliability. Murdoch had been penciled into upcoming television and house show programs, and the no-show created immediate issues for both booking and morale.

As a result, Murdoch has been suspended indefinitely. Several sources indicate this is not being viewed internally as a minor disciplinary action, and there is real doubt about whether he will return to the company at all. While nothing has been officially announced, the feeling within the locker room is that Murdoch’s standing has taken a significant hit.

In other news, Ultimate Warrior is now expected to return to television in the coming weeks after reportedly coming to terms with the WWF regarding his booking and overall direction. This comes after a period of tension between Warrior and management following WrestleMania, but sources indicate both sides have reached an understanding. While details of his return angle are being kept quiet, the expectation is that he will be reintroduced in a prominent position on upcoming programming.
