KingBoggs33 Posted Tuesday at 03:10 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:10 AM Okay, so I fell a little bit behind, but let's get all this caught up. Monday Night Raw 05/18/1991 The Titan defeated Dan Spivey with Slick to retain the WWF Television Championship The Ronin and Z-Man with Gary Hart won a six-man tag match Dynamite Kid defeated Tom Brandi Andre the Giant destroyed four men. He still wants answers Mean Gene does a King of the Ring report (Promos from competitors of the tournament.) The Warlord and Junkyard Dog challenge Power and Glory to a match at SNME in June Tito Santana defeated The Genius In a surprising moment. Jake "The Snake" Roberts shows up via satellite for a promo. The camera opens in a dark room with only a single lamp glowing beside a chair. Jake Roberts sits motionless, wearing dark sunglasses, his eyes still heavily damaged from the attack. Damien rests quietly across his shoulders as Jake slowly tilts his head toward the camera.] Jake Roberts: You know...people spend their whole lives afraid of the dark. Funny thing is...I spent my whole life living in it. He slowly rubs his fingers together. Jake Roberts: I made a career outta fear. I poisoned minds. I twisted people up inside. I made enemies because that’s what Jake the Snake does. I told myself it was all part of the game. Mind games. Psychological warfare. Survival. But then one night...somebody took my eyes away from me. Jake lowers his head. Jake Roberts: And when all you've got left is darkness...you start hearing things clearer than you ever did before. I heard doctors whispering about whether I’d ever see again. I heard fans praying for me. I heard people I hurt over the years saying maybe I finally got what was coming to me. Maybe they’re right. Maybe I brought too much chaos into the WWF. Maybe I pushed too many people too far. Maybe I became so obsessed with fear...that eventually fear came looking for me. Jake tightens his grip on Damien. Jake Roberts: But let me tell you something about being blind. When you lose your sight...you stop seeing distractions. You stop seeing fame. Money. Gold. You stop seeing the lies people hide behind. Now I see people for exactly what they are. And whoever did this to me...you made one mistake. He slowly removes the sunglasses just enough to reveal his damaged eyes underneath before lowering them again. Jake Roberts: You left me alive. I don’t need eyes to find you. Trust Me! The screen slowly fades to black.

ErictheDragon Posted Tuesday at 05:49 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:49 AM Titan defeats his most physically imposing challenger. Can anyone stop him? Like that you're already making plans for the next SNME. Warlord/JYD vs Power & Glory will be a fun attraction. A one eyed snake can til bite. I think someone is about to find that out the hard way. King of the Ring is gonna rock Baltimore.

ErictheDragon Posted Tuesday at 07:21 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:21 PM Hart screws up big time allowing DK to move on. Taylor seemed to be looking to make a friend. Alas Andre wasn't interested. Slick Ric is headed to the semis. So much for Nailz' rehabilitation. A loss in the eight man sees the heels nearly come to blows. I know I wouldn't mind seeing Hart & Slick tussle. Andre is going into the finals with a lot left in the tank. Flair gets the win but Kid made him work for it. Earthquake ends Jimmy's night on a high note. The plot thickens as it turns out that the Taylor Made Man has a secret employer. Funk proves he's a man of his word as he prevents Lawler & the Genius from comiting a royal robbery. I don't know what Taylor thought he was doing but maybe he should've run it past Andre first? Regardless the nature Boy is the King of the Ring and now it's on to SummerSlam.
kevinmcfl Posted yesterday at 03:02 AM Posted yesterday at 03:02 AM WWF is a mystery and is Terry Taylor pulling all the strings .... or is the Million Dollar Corporation. The King of the Ring was so well done and you put so much work onto it. Great job. Lawler-Funk.... Always a money maker. Again, awesome job! Can't wait to get all the clues to see where Taylor stands... what roll Nails plays in all of this drama and same goes for Andre! I might need popcorn for the next epipisode.
KingBoggs33 Posted yesterday at 02:58 PM Author Posted yesterday at 02:58 PM Glad you guys are enjoying the product. I will say, though, I’ve got a really busy schedule coming up over the next few months, so I’m going to change up how I post shows moving forward. The plan right now is to focus on doing one major show each month and then use cleanup posts in between to keep everybody updated on the product, storylines, feuds, and the events that lead into each card. This way I don't have to rack my brain on weekly shows, and I can get to the stuff that I really wanted to get out.
spaldoni Posted yesterday at 06:51 PM Posted yesterday at 06:51 PM KOTR! Dynamite and Hase kick things off with one heck of an opener. Hart's interference backfires as Dynamite advances. Thanks to Taylor's pre match beating on JYD, Andre easily advances. Hmmmmm, what was that all about??? Duggan came out swinging but one mistake is all Flair needed as he pulls off the classic heel roll up Ok Nailz completely snapped. Backlund should've known this man cannot be rehabilitated. Andre's been a lucky man tonight. I'm sure Tatanka will want another fight with Nailz but he better bring his tomahawk with him The 8 man tag was a lot of fun. Loved the heels arguing with each other as well as the managers. Warlord seems to be getting a good push. Dynamite sure made Flair work for that win. Great job making Dynamite look strong in defeat. Flair really got to shine here. Very interesting finals ahead Damn, Earthquake looked like an absolute beast tonight. I wouldn't mind seeing an Earthquake/Warlord IC match. Awesome segment with Taylor and Nailz. From the envelope to the spotted spray can to the Million Dollar Corporation card. So many questions but a lot of clues to answers Santana and Lawler give the fans an exciting title bout. Funk keeping order amongst all the chaos was great stuff. Santana gets the big win and gives him even more credibility as a fighting champ. Also sets up an inevitable Funk/Lawler feud which is always money. I think Taylor was better off staying in the back. Thanks to him, Flair was able to pull it off and win the KOTR. And now, Taylor has an angry giant to worry about. Flair giving another epic promo was a fitting end to an amazing night. Flair and Santana are going to tear it up at SummerSlam! Props to you and all your hard work. The match write ups were well detailed and so realistic. The commentary was spot on as well as the promos. Not to mention the creative storylines going on. Well done!
