Bracket #2, Match #6

Loss

Recommended Posts

Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.

Rey Misterio Jr

Who the HELL did the bracketing for this? *looks around*

Neither guy deserves to be double eliminated so quickly, but I think I have to go with Rey Misterio Jr here. It's a close call, though, and Rey only gets the edge because he's shaped into a draw for Smackdown in the past 12 months, and he's been in more good matches. Rude has carried some lesser workers to some decent stuff, so I could see voting for him just as well.

Rude.

Rey's got the popularity and match quality, but Rude was a defining heel character in the WWF. He could be in a pointless feud, but his heat was still incredible because of his opening spiel. Of course, you could make a case that people hated him largely because of his manager.
