  1. I would also like to acknowledge for any shit I have given anyone else about someone not being a "fit" for their promotion I am fully aware that David Von Erich in Southwest in 1983 is the most ridiculous. That's part of the charm though.
  2. Updated. AWA roster is still my pick for best fitted for national takeover and that's not JUST due to Hogan. Also please give him his Haynes back.
  3. Joe Blanchard has been looking over his roster and the list of talent left available and has concerns he may have trouble feeding fresh heels to the hungry mouths of both The Fabulous Ones and Jim Duggan. In light of this, Joe is open to listening to trade offers involving Jim Duggan. Keep in mind Joe has no problems keeping Jim Duggan, but if someone were looking for a somewhat stronger babyface, Joe is looking for one a little less strong and perhaps something could be worked out. These negotiations would best be held in private. Even a possbility of 2 weaker babyfaces for Duggan but please don't be insulting. Joe Blanchard will frown very deeply upon offers he deems to be "trade rape" and is a spiteful man.
  4. I'm dumb. Grimmas can you move my Southwest thread to this sub folder?

  6. Thanks for pointing that out. Fixed. When anyone does a total trade of talent after a draft pick make sure you keep your eyes on this thread that I don't miss it.
  7. If I inspired one person to take Ali Bey I feel incredibly warm and fuzzy in my heart. I knew who he was he's been on the Southwest I've been watching.
  8. If you want to just try and stay true to Southeastern then KrisZ could finish off your draft or I could. We could either start blowing thru picks as guys get less attached or have it slow down as everyone goes "who the fuck is this guy" and tries to research Ali Bey or some shit.
  9. No that's not true. Parv has Ole and he owns Georgia. You have to take your owner with a pick if you want him. Just like Memphis & WWC did.
  10. Is Corpus Christi a WCCW town or Southwest? I promise not to break out any maps if it's WCCW.
  11. Matt D is the #1 Portland fan with the selection of Chris Colt.
  12. Stop writing about Rick McGraw damn it.
  13. It's not my fault Southwest didn't have very many true regulars! Then Boricua has to scoop Bob Sweetan in the FIFTH! And you took Bobby Jaggers from me. I don't want to pick on Boricua because he obviously has some kinda big plan for Mr. Piledriver but Sweetan being valued so much more than Billy Jack somewhat blows my mind. Just from a "look at him on an 8x10" standpoint.
  14. dawho also has a pretty nice Montreal set up with with The Rouegaus vs. Tongas feud, The Midnight Express vs. Jim Brunzell & Phil LaFon and split them up a bit for singles to flesh out the card and keep it fresh. Or throw Armand in and someone on the Tongas side to do a 6 man. I think there may be a bit of over thinking going on with people's plans. You need 2 maybe 3 hot matches at the top and after that you're just doing anything ranging from random workrate midcard matches, goofy comedy midcard matches or total prelim stuff.
  15. Boon I just want to say, as far as filling the needs of your promotion you are probably the best set guy at this point. Southeastern didn't need a lot but you already seem to have gotten just about everything necessary and everything else is just icing on the cake for you.
  16. Ewwww Danny Davis being gone hurts a little. Had a fun plan for him. Oh well. Still not one of my 2 musts.
  17. Gene Anderson Jerry Brisco Gotta get some tag wars going. Joe Blanchard: Wrestling Psychic
  18. I like this way more than I should.
  19. Gene Anderson Jerry Brisco Gotta get some tag wars going.
  20. Haha well I know we are doing the same thing then. I haven't renumbered I probably lost 20 or so since my last list of 80 Was wondering how long it would take for LeDuc and Billy Jack to go off it.
  21. Billy Jack was on my list as a possible 3rd rounder when I was scared of not having a top babyface. I was completely and totally ready to roll with Billy Jack as my #1 dude (well after The Fabs) and am shocked he fell this far. If I had not been so focused on trying to build something I think would be true to Southwest I would have taken him. Being true to Southwest though they could have never ever had as many top babyface acts as The Fabulous Ones, Duggan, David Von Erich & Billy Jack. So he stayed at the top of my list while I picked a bunch of dudes under him.
  22. I am sorry Dylan it's time to break out the "I am willing to lose this guy if it means I save this guy" dirty tactic of trying to make people jump the gun.
  23. Still current. I think. Check it.
  24. Obviously only one person can get Mike Jackson so if you really want him, I would honestly take him next.
  25. Honestly not trying to be a dick but I'm not sure what you could do with Super Destroyer you couldn't do better with Jos LeDuc.
