  1. The Reigns/Del Rio match is sucking my will to live.
  2. I don't remember seeing his name anywhere on the card.
  3. Watching on delay. This is going to be a rough show if they're booing Reigns already.
  4. George South, Rocky King and Italian Stallion.
  5. How about the Iron Sheik?
  6. We also got Hennig giving the Perfect Plex to the Giant which was pretty fucking awesome.
  7. Hennig's first six months in WCW were pretty good. His feuds with Flair and DDP were good secondary feuds. He had solid to good matches with several guys in the fall. I also enjoyed his tag team with Barry Windham and the West Texas Rednecks.
  8. There are a lot of folks, in different social groups or work groups that I am involved in, that dislike her for different reasons. Some of the legitimate reasons some friends of mine dislike her is transphobic comments she has made, slut shaming other famous women, claiming the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax, and other bizzare things she has said or claimed. She also gets a lot of hate for some of the other reasons written on here and also, let's be honest, there is a lot of misogyny among MMA fans and the general public. Disagree strongly with the misogyny comment here. Jon Jones gets just as much hate for his douchebaggery. See also guys like Nick Diaz. If there's one thing MMA fans do it's hate on fighters.
  9. The sound quality is fantastic this week.
  10. Sunny in every respect. Better character, better grasp of the business and way hotter. I never got what people saw in Sable other than her tits.

    Jim Cornette

I came along a little later as far as fandom. Someone broke his glasses in OVW and he hauled off and started wailing on the guy. I was absolutely stunned how good his punches looked considering I hadn't really seen SMW footage at that point.
  12. Magnum/Tully is the standard by which all cage matches should be judged by.

It still catches me by surprise sometimes. The first time I ever saw him throw one was a real holy shit moment.

Cornette might make my top 10 best worked punches ever list. I always thought he was the best manager when it came to wild brawls around the ring. He knew how to get involved effectively without hurting the faces credibility.
  15. What did you think of the Trooper vs. The Patriot as far as gimmicks go?
  16. I thought he was consistently one of the best parts about the dying days of the AWA as The Trooper. I thought him trying out different partners to try and win the tag titles was fun on a weekly basis while it lasted. I remember there being a match against Larry Zbyszko around that time period that I also really liked.
  17. Yeah, that. Just made me really sad to see the humanity of that moment vs. the monster that he became due to all the brain damage that he suffered.
  18. And to further that. You might have some tiny ass little podcast with 20 listeners but you are big to those listeners. Going out and interacting with them or mentioning them on air can be a big deal. I legit had someone who was absolutely off the walls excited that I read their Tweet on the air when I had 5 listeners.
  19. I also wanted to add. I probably put in 10-20 hours of work a week on my hockey podcast. I do a lot of research between episodes, I obviously watch all the games and I have to watch other teams play. I also haul my ass to practices and shit like that for more insight.
  20. You also need a logo. I paid a professional artist to make a logo for me. Are you on iTunes and Stitcher? People will find you via those services.
  21. Twitter. For my hockey podcast I go on Twitter and interact a lot with the Blue Jackets community. My show isn't big but it's constantly growing and I've surpassed other Blue Jackets podcasts. I also get a lot of feedback via Twitter and even some Blue Jackets staff and beat writers have listened to my show and given me feedback. I also read Tweets on the air and bring fans on the show and advertise it.
  22. Wait... I thought he was always drunk...
  23. I had to have a real conversation with myself when I bought my ticket to Chikara. I got a front row seat and had to ask myself if I was okay with being on camera during the show and have the wrestlers potentially try to interact with me.
