  1. I wanted to give a different perspective on being quiet during a show. I am an introvert. Being loud just isn't something I do. I just like going to shows and quietly watching the matches. But that's a personality thing.

  3. I didn't watch any wrestling for about 5 years after Benoit killed his family.
  4. The media is crammed to the gills with Floyd Mayweather enables and apologists. I think it makes them look bad but a lot of people in the sports world give him a total pass for being a piece of shit.

I think Mutoh was clearly better when he came back with the shaved head and new style but that's only about 6 months of overlap. I think you might be able to say the Rock was better than HHH in 2000. You can eliminate the HHH matches as those cancel each other out and then you have the Benoit match at Fully Loaded and some of the Angle stuff. I think HHH's best stuff was probably better but I think if you went match by match that Rock might have had a better year in hindsight.
  6. The last two Royal Rumbles.
  7. Honestly, it fluctuates depending on the situation. Whoever the top star at the moment is tends to be the most important belt at that moment. And sometimes the belts are little more than something for wrestlers to wear to the ring.
  8. Well, I think if you were really smart you would just say no to wrestling Stan Hansen.
  9. Wait, is that what that spot's supposed to be? I always saw it as him just doing a backflip. That's what I always thought he was going for.
  10. Just as a side note. I thought it was brilliant during Chyna's King of the Ring run when Road Dogg wore a cup for their match.
  11. When wrestling the Dudley Boys always check under the ring and remove any stashed tables from the ringside area.
  12. How about guys that go for moves that never work. Like Waltman trying to hit that Rocker Dropper that always gets countered?
  13. Watching Jay Lethal do about 50 flips before hitting the Lethal Injection on you. Every wrestler looks like a dumbass taking that move.
  14. Wanted to throw out there. Chikara has a Roku app now. You can buy the current shows for $11.99 and you can watch them on your TV. I tried it out today and it works really well.
  15. I wouldn't vote for them as a top 25 but this segment is probably one of my all time favorites: https://youtu.be/X2ApH5c8kr4
  16. I wanted to add that if you're looking at his more modern work, he's stated that he's really reigned his style in due to concussions. He'd never make a list I made but I just wanted to throw that out there if you're looking at his modern work.
  17. Did you hate the Elgin/Dijak match as much as I did?
  18. Chikara finally ran a show in Columbus. I dropped the $40 for a front row seat. I'm probably going to be on the DVD numerous times due to where I sat for this. Dasher Hatfield d. Ophidian - good opener. This is what you'd expect from both guys. El Hijo Del Ice Cream d. Blind Rage - they went into a test of strength that spilled out of the ring and went all over the building and even outside for a couple of minutes. Pretty funny stuff. Icarus d. Proletariat Boar of Moldova - The Boar and Prakish Sabre stole someone's water at ringside and kept screwing with them for the entire match. This was a good back and forth match. Boar has a good power move arsenal. Oleg the Usurper d. Ashley Remington - this was the match I was really looking forward to. I wanted to see how Dalton Castle compares with Ashley Remington. My verdict is that Dalton Castle is the better gimmick and that his charisma comes through better in RoH. This was a decent match. I was surprised by the outcome. Oleg did a splash on Ashley right in front of where I was and then jumped on the guy next to me. Princess Kimberlee d. Jakob Hammermeier - I don't like men vs. women matches but this one was good as far as these go. Jakob kept it lighthearted and Kimberlee can bump well and keep up. Nothing to write home about but the fan interaction was fun. Eddie Kingston d. Blaster McMassive - I was a little disappointed in this one. Some good bombs got thrown here and it had a nice pace but it ended just as I was getting into it. Hallowicked, Chuck Taylor and Arik Cannon d. Mr. Touchdown, Heidi Lovelace and Fire Ant - Two great moments in this match. Chuck Taylor ran outside after getting bested in the ring and then scared some girls outside not affiliated with the event. Like one of them literally ran across the little park there. A couple of the venue staff thought this was hilarious. Then later Mr. Touchdown gave Hallowicked a superplex and they kicked this hanging light and the fixture came crashing into the ring with them. This was a fun main event overall. I thought the show was over at this point but the crowd wanted more so they ran a bonus battle royal. I won't list who was involved here. I did have Farmer Frog laying on me as he was selling being eliminated from it all. Afterwards I got a Dasher Hatfield shirt. Met Eddie Kingston, Fire Ant and the Boar. I also took a picture of Hallowicked. The only downside to the event is the guy that sat next to me reeked of "I haven't showered in 3 weeks" level of BO. I'm still having flashbacks to the stink. That was actually a theme RoH and Chikara shared. God, fucking shower before going to the show.
  19. Chikara is a very different crowd.
  20. Lethal cheated at one point and the referee told him to stop and he innocently said "What?" Lethal and Strong were jabbering a lot back and forth about working together. That was actually really interesting as they really built their rivalry. Daniels countered a move on Bennett and Bennett said "oh crap" as he was falling. Rowe walked by us at one point and said to our section "that shit hurts." Dalton Castle was massaging the back of the time keeper during the heel intros and just being himself. On the same note. Castle was saying stuff to Moose on the apron during the main event and Moose was cracking up. I thought the Boys were really interesting close up. They never stop reacting during the match.
  21. I also wanted to add. This is the first time I've ever been really close to the ring. The stuff they say to each other mid-match is fascinating.
  22. After finally seeing him live, Michael Elgin is just absolute dogshit as a wrestler. His matches lack structure. He loves doing all this cute shit during the matches that undermine the type of wrestler he's supposed to be. And he just doesn't have a fucking clue. Last night is a perfect example. He hit a powerbomb for a two count, what the fuck is the difference between that and the spinning powerbomb he used to finish the match? Just dumb match building.
  23. Steamer got a standing ovation.
  24. I agree, it wasn't a very good show. Briscoes vs. War Machine was great, everything else was mediocre. Guy in front of me was taking creep shots of Maria's ass.
