“Buried” almost always means “not featured in high profile matches on regular basis on featured TV” when it’s brought up, so that’s more than likely what folks mean. That will more than likely change given ROH involvement but they usually do well given any type of exposure.

Joe will have to be used in spurts, and I also feel like he is going to want to play the hits one last time. Tony will absolutely want to run Joe/Punk, and considering Punk might actually beat Page for the title, and All Out is upon us, they could headline that as a swan song of sorts.

We also have a very blown up version of what WALTER was coming in and regardless of what you thought of him, Vince saw him as “another Cesaro.”

Fucked up about what Stevenson did, especially with the loophole. The rocket will be strapped to him, though. Because of course it will.

Is there something that happened with Stevenson that I missed? I’m not on social and haven’t been keeping track as much lately so if there was something shady with him, not sure what it could have been.

Yeah, but it’s the same folks over and over again at this point. They keep running the same programs, they all seem interchangeable in a ton of ways. Neither Drew nor Lashley inspire confidence for actual compelling challenges. That’s part of the problem.

And that babyface was a originally a heel who became a babyface entirely because of the disposition of the fanbase of the time!

Austin also has a big time soft spot for Owens, as Owens has told the story numerous times about meeting him in an airport and talking about how Austin’s promos helped him learn to speak English better. That was somewhat alluded to but nerve overtly, and I feel that’s why Austin did it, even if the payday was also substantial.

Ronda not even getting to be all “That don’t work for me, sister” for this is hilarious, now we know why Austin is closing the show.

IWTV has announced AJW for the platform, five shows a month, and it looks like they do indeed have masters. Seems like a slow burn on this footage when there’s so much seems like the wrong move but still insane to see.

I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion. They’ve played this card before and ZSJ gave Okada all he could handle, so there’s more than enough here to think ZSJ can do it this time.

Easy to forget how many traumas that guy has gone through in his life and we ostracize him for some of the worst things he’s done, but I don’t think anyone can be nearly as harsh on anyone as you can be with yourself, and Ric sadly has proven that out.
