To faciliate the building of an awesome and interactive wrestling database, you'll notice a lot of changes and expansion on this section of the board. One of those changes includes new topics requiring admin approval. To be clear, I don't want people to submit less new topics or feel discouraged. In fact, it's more encouraged than ever, and you should consider yourselves hugely helpful (and appreciated) for building an amazing resource. It's solely so that I can ensure consistent naming conventions on thread titles and that the infrastructure around the thread (an accompanying place to discuss the full show, the wrestlers, etc) is in place before it goes up.

New. They already show. The question is whether five (the current number) is too many, too few, or just right. EDIT: Rather, they did before the upgrade.

I think this is carny for, "It was, but we won't include any footage in 24 because we now realize there will be backlash if we do." If it doesn't pop up in something unrelated 5-10 years from now, only for apologists to be all, "What's the big deal?", I'll be shocked.

I hope it's only you. Nothing about the board settings has changed between yesterday and today.

There are some additional options for board features that I can tweak if the popular demand is there. Feel free to leave your feedback. Should we add the option to log in using Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, or Google (or continue with a board-unique log on as we currently have)? Should we create new customized streams, beyond just "Unread content", "Content I follow", etc.? If so, what should they be? Should we create RSS feeds for board activity of a specific type? I can do this for multiple things if I know how people would want it. Should we add blog feeds that show content from other sites in a designated place? (I want to think more about whether this is a good idea but I'm interested in hearing thoughts) Should we increase or decrease (or keep the same) the number of new threads shown on the right-hand side of the home page? More coming.

Well, I remember it actually said somewhere at that time that explaining Joanie Lauer to Stephanie and Hunter's kids wasn't exactly a conversation they were itching to have. And I get that.

I think criticism of wrestling that you watch is fine. Otherwise, everything about everything would be solely positive and any talk of wrestling would be pointless and boring because those who don't adore it all just wouldn't watch. So that doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that these types usually present themselves as fans of WRESTLING and when they're given it, don't care. I have zero issue with impassioned negativity that comes from a place of love. I just think the positivity should be equally impassioned and loving.

I think it's a bigger taboo for a consenting adult to do porn than it is to be a racist. Talk about a Real American story.

I think there is a staleness problem that permeates everything. There are a lot of people on the roster that seem to just be taking up space. Anderson and Gallows, Titus O'Neill, R-Truth, Sin Cara, Natalya, No Way Jose, and Dana Brooke pretty much never do anything memorable in a positive way. Even some of the top acts are pretty stale. I don't know if that's more the issue or if it's truly an effort problem.

I was part of an Internet message board scene that in its infancy wished people would die of AIDS or had been trapped in the World Trade Center because of their wrestling opinions, so I get it. But I think we've evolved some, or tried to. I want to give you the benefit of the doubt. Just asking that you respect the norms.
