The past few years have been weird getting to see the guy in situations I thought he would never show himself in. Vince looked like he had fucking dementia at the end of Survivor Series 13 and TLC '13 when he was out there with Steph and HHH. Like he had no clue where he was or what to do. That was shitty to see. Then there was the RAW where he came out during a Rock promo and got choked up before they played the Welcome Home video. Before that there was a video on .com where he was all teared up with Michaels backstage when giving him the HOF ring. Both cool old man moments that were fun to see. To think he had that street fight with Punk not too far earlier is crazy. That shit was incredible. There is a satellite feed of a 97 Shotgun that Landy put on youtube that's a cool listen. About 20 minutes of him getting ready for the show. Total goofy Vince mode. My vote's for Mr MacMahon. The way he says 'Austin' all pissed off is classic. CAPACITY CROWD, Atlas "Got it Goin On" and Hogan "Look at those Muscles" - LOL

Good call on Flair. I am looking forward to watching these guys slow it down and work! Thought Orton was too chill mode but great finish. Hate how they cut to an ad pretty quick after.

Agreed, figure the Show win is for a new giant to beat him next year. Harper or somebody.

Regardless of booking, the generation gap dynamic going on with a majority of the big matches is a nice change. 4 of the 5 are older vs. newer. Feels like WM8.

Ordering the network because of the main. Want to see it without any stream BS hopefully. I love the matchup and like everything about both those guys. Looking forward to the Sting entrance and Rollins on the big stage.

Couple points... -There will be no skinny crossfit god Rollins cashing in to end a VKM Mania. -There will be no double turn. I doubt they have faith in the match even coming off smooth nevermind pulling that shit off. But the match doesn't even need to be smooth to begin with. Just let it be a fight without any extra pressure of special transitions or cut offs and all that shit a Cena or Orton would help bring it. Do a brawl and get the finish right. -Predictable Mania plans stick, any potential last second changes discussed recently have to wait to get put into play on RAW for the benefit of a day to reflect. But Mania OG plans stay set in stone. -I like Grimmas idea

Prediction: Sting Thoughts: Put HHH over Sting. Completing the heel HHH story is better at this point than giving Sting a win in a match nobody wanted to begin with. He is getting pops because he's Sting, not because of the story here. This way HHH can get booed out the building and Sting can get his token round of applause moment after the loss where he thanks the crowd, with the crowd getting what they really wanted later on (next). Prediction: Taker Thoughts: Wyatt doesn't need to win as much as he needs to make Taker vulnerable and on verge of extinction. For legacy sake keep Taker with 1 Mania loss. Post-match Sting saves Taker from some crazy Wyatt hocus pocus shit and crowd gets to pop big for their Sting and Taker moment. Wyatt escapes and beats Sting at Summerslam. Prediction: Rollins Thoughts: Somewhat complicated blow off match. Orton is almost impossible to kill his value at this point but to have him come back so close to Mania season and lose a few weeks later would put a pretty big dent in him unless he changes his character going forward. At the same token considering the build, it feels flat with him beating Rollins and going forward as same old Randy. It would also be a flat ending for Rollins to lose with the momentum he's built in what's been a well-received storyline. I would have Rollins win after all the usual interference and strength in numbers. Then reinvent Orton going forward as a Sting 96-97 character, saying hey thanks for all the help boys after years of service and then going silent from here on out. Put him on a Lesnar-like schedule while just dropping guys with RKOs during run-ins ala Sting, the one guy who did actually help him on the road to mania. Prediction: Cena Thoughts: I think Cena-Rusev will be like Cena-Wyatt and HHH-Lesnar with the heel winning the feud but not the Mania match. Rusev will get the win at Extreme Rules but drop at Mania. Although I don't agree with the young guy not getting the real rub and just getting "hey he was in there with Cena that's good enough" rub, I am all for Cena US champ and Bryan IC champ. They have more time to play with Rusev than they do with Rollins or Wyatt so I have no issue with having him eat one here. But a Rusev win/Cena loss could lead to Orton recruiting Cena with the pitch being he needs to switch his game up as well. This has the vets Orton and Cena eventually coming together on accord of losing their Mania matches, like the timing/idea of the Austin/HHH 2001 team was but as underdog faces just to freshen them up some. Prediction: Reigns Thoughts: Reigns should be made here (or rehabilitated) not with the belt but with the respect. Last summer they had him at his hottest. If they put the belt on him at MITB while he was riding that momentum and then have him lose it quick a month later at Summerslam to Lesnar, he could have kept his buzz and built towards Mania being a rematch with Lesnar where he was really ready now to finally hold the strap. But woulda/coulda/shoulda. Have Lesnar retain with a handshake to Reigns after a war that is done good enough for the crowd to accept Reigns after eating the humble pie. Need to have a top rope superman punch somewhere in this, can't just do the usual shit against a Lesnar. Rock comes out after to congratulate both and then Reigns raises both Rock and Lesnar's hands with some tension teased. Heyman shaking his head in disbelief. WM32 BROCK-Rock (Austin-Punk would be an unreal perfect fit too) REIGNS-Rollins-Ambrose - Title Sting/Taker vs. Cena/Orton BRYAN vs. Cesaro - IC Title Barrett/Sheamus/Ryback vs. Zayn/Neville/Itami WYATT vs. Joe RUSEV vs. Balor - US Title ZIGGLER vs. Owens Harper/Rowan vs. SHOW/KANE - Tag Titles Andre battle royal Girls match

Reigns should have been Goldberg but they fucked him all up. The YES shit is beyond fucking stupid and Bryan looks like an idiot. I wish he came back shaved head and only broke out the Yes shit for big moments. But WWE is booked for kids.

Half way through the decade so would like to see everyone's takes on their own. Here's my Top 10 with the most replay value for me. CM Punk vs. John Cena (Money in the Bank 2011) Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena (Extreme Rules 2012) CM Punk vs. Vince McMahon (RAW 10-8-12) Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton (RAW 6-17-13) Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton (RAW 6-24-13) Shield vs. Usos (Money in the Bank 2013) Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk (Summerslam 2013) Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena (Summerslam 2013) Shield vs Wyatts (RAW 3-3-14) Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton vs. Batista (WrestleMania 30) Also want to mention two randoms that I thought would have got more attention at time and are worth a look - Sheamus vs Wade Barrett (RAW 10-8-12) and Daniel Bryan vs Ryback (RAW 6-3-13). Here's others I remember getting top reviews... Triple H vs. Undertaker - WrestleMania 27 John Cena vs. Rey Misterio - RAW Post-MITB2011 Christian vs. Randy Orton - Summerslam 2011 CM Punk vs. John Cena - Summerslam 2011 Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton - Night of Champions 2011 Sheamus vs. Big Show - Hell in a Cell 2011 CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan - Over The Limit 2012 CM Punk vs. John Cena - Night of Champions 2012 CM Punk vs. John Cena - RAW Post-EC2013 CM Punk vs. Undertaker - WrestleMania 29 Daniel Bryan vs. Antonio Cesaro - RAW July 2013 Goldust vs. Randy Orton - RAW Sept 2013 Goldust/Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins/Roman Reigns - RAW Oct 2013 Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton - RAW Post-TLC2014 Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt - Royal Rumble 2014 Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton - RAW Post-RR2014 Antonio Cesaro vs. John Cena - RAW Feb 2014 Shield vs. Wyatts - Elimination Chamber 2014 Orton vs. Bryan vs. Cena vs. Cesaro vs. Sheamus vs. Christian - Elimination Chamber 2014 Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H - WrestleMania 30 Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena - Summerslam 2014 Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins - RAW Post-SS2014

The week after the Germany RAW was when they had the entire new set, graphics, and intro. I wonder how long they were sitting on all that and waiting to debut it. I was just watching the Owen-Davey matches and noticed in the reviews here that Loss is saying the April RAW from South Africa was the decider though.

Chronologically... 1 - Snuka Cage Dive 2 - Hogan wins title 3 - Hogan slams Andre 4 - Mega Powers explode 5 - Warrior vs Hogan 6 - Savage & Liz WM7 7 - Foley HITC bump 8 - Austin joins McMahon WM17 finish 9 - Rock vs Hogan 10 - Lesnar breaks streak Benoit & Eddie at WM20 would be just on outside looking in. There's not enough big main event, show closing, friends embracing in triumph finishes. The Taker-HHH-HBK was more ride off into the sunset like Flair-Michaels and Taker-Michaels. Montreal has the wow to it like all the others but also has the "that fucking sucks" unlike the others, because of everything that Hart went through afterward (Owen & Davey deaths, career ending injury, stroke) and never getting storyline retribution when he was still competitive. All the 10 here can be looked back on far more favorably in some way, which is enough to eliminate it for me. Rock-Cena was too 50/50 and needed a Cena turn to make it. I don't think Cena has a moment Top 10 caliber as a face yet. Austin vs Goldberg to win the WWF-WCW war needed to happen for Austin's biggest face moment. Either the HBK Ladder splash or Edge-Hardy spear at Mania is the next biggest spot IMO. Not No. 11 but biggest highspot.

I feel like they have HHH beat Bryan by fuckery and Hogan add Bryan into the four-way starting right there for some great chaos, with the end of the 4way then being Bryan tap HHH and a bigger WM10esque celebration. Who knows if a Punk thing happens but would be more chaos. Try and recreate a Backlash 2000 type deal maybe. Also think the Streak stays but they do a Brock destroying Taker postmatch that leads to a Rock or Sting save/theatrics. Cena beats Wyatt but gets left for dead some crazy way and Wyatts come out of it stronger. I would like to see Vince out there at the end. The nostalgia stuff with Hogan there and knowing that Austin and Rock (and maybe Kliq) could make appearances should be a cool night. I figured they would hold the Bryan-making for the night after and have Cena and Hogan front and center to close an anniversary show like this, especially with Cena and Rock doing the last two. Also thought any resemblance to WM20 would be something they stay away from. Can't say Nash's comments weren't in back of my mind either. Based on that and once they had those RAW segments with Lesnar/Orton/Batista, I felt 100 sure that they were going with the OVW Class of 2001? four way main event (which IMO would've been great) and a Punk/Bryan match for a title shot the night after (in order to appease the hate for the main). I thought the show would end with a Cena and Hogan (and Vince) send off, and RAW the next night has Bryan-Cena II with the title change and a Punk heel turn/bigger Authority stable with him and Wyatts joining.

Did you mean the 1991 Bash where Flair left the company? Yeah, that match WAS a let down! I think he meant 88, where Luger had Flair in the Torture Rack and the match was stopped for a small trickle of blood. Yeah meant 88 and instances like that, where it went from high to low that quick. Luger-Flair probably the best example of what I mentioned since the others actually got some heat. Can't remember if War Games 97 did or not with NWO in Charlotte. Always read about how it 'killed the town.'
