  1. Ayala in 83 is really before he had max value, but in WWC getting him so late is great get. Looking at my board there are some real steals left.
  2. Don Owen, Sandy Barr, Tom Peterson, and Granny, on behalf of Don Owen Sports and Pacific Northwest wrestling, are listening to trade offers for Pat Paterson and Ray Stevens. Given the star power and international appeal of these talents, the Portland office believes their may be interest in them as a unit, however offers for each individual will be considered. All offers should be made via PM, and must be made by 3AM EST 6/16.
  3. I actually think the draft will be effectively done by Sunday. That said Boon could set up a depth chart of all remaining names and a trustee could just pull from it.
  4. With Colt he was actually third or fourth on my depth chart, and not a real "need," but I have a plan for him and really was afraid he would be gone in 28 picks.
  5. I've now got a 28 pick gap between picks. It is very possible that there will not be a single person on the board left that I actually want when it is time to pick again.
  6. Portland selects Chris Colt.
  7. Torn between drafting for need at this point or drafting the best wrestler(s) on the board. The reality is that there are no super strong contenders to fill my biggest need bu the are people I could lift for the sole purpose of trade bait though that is a dangerous strategy.
  8. I was looking at Davis. Damn.
  9. Billy Jack is a great pick at this point in the draft. I might have taken him next had he still been around. That said I really don't feel bad about "losing" him. In some ways I'm not even sure he was the best Portland guy left on the board.
  10. Jaggers was the other guy I was considering next to LeDuc. I took Jos because he was a bigger star in my view, and I think his look/act is a better fit for PNW (yeah I know Jaggers worked Portland).
  11. Fuck you for even invoking the name of Mike Jackson at this point because he's someone I need to fall. As for LeDuc he was a steal. He had no business falling this far down in the first place. That said, PM me Kris. We will talk.
  12. I may need another KrisZ ruling.
  13. You're ahead of me next round which scares me because we may be thinking of the same person. Hopefully not. I would bet not. At this point our needs are different I would guess
  14. I might actually get to pick again today which is good because there is one more theft id like to perpetrate.
  15. goc is taking forever with this pick. Absolutely disgraceful behavior on his part.
  16. He may not have been on anyone else's radar, but I can't believe LeDuc fell that far. Good worker, good look, good talker, was a star all over and never had trouble getting over anywhere.
  17. Portland is happy to announce that they are importing a world famous lumberjack to clear cut the regions old growth forests, and improve interstate travel in the process. Welcome to PNW Mr. Jos LeDuc!
  18. Boon is on the clock
  19. I can't believe no one else picked up on Buddy dropping. I really didn't have a use for him but thought about picking him up as trade bait. That said he wasn't the person I was referring to.
  20. Yep, Bravo went way too late. I really didn't have a good spot for him in Portland, but I could have seen him as early as the late second or early third round
  21. Disappointed that goc is not complaining more about peachchaos still being on the clock
  22. I honestly don't see how. He's a comedic figure and is presented that way. He's barely a t.v. presence at all. He doesn't get pushed. I like variety show wrestling. To me the absolute low point of ROH was a few years back when the show was filled with guys who worked exactly the same. The fact that it was a shitty style made it even worse, but it was the sameness that really made it suck. I can see not being into Cheeseburger, but really don't see how he hurts the shows. It's not like he's Elgin.
  23. I would agree that the Code Red really isn't critical to El-P's argument, especially since he had no clue what move was even executed when he came into this thread to talk shit about the alleged inconsistency of others.
  24. As it stands there are 33 people I could actually see myself drafting and getting some value out of either as a spot filler on the card or trade bait. Of those 33, maybe 12 are people I could see being positioned well on my cards. There are another 10-12 people out there I could see drafting if I absolutely had to, though I don't know WTF I would do with them. The point in saying all of this is that I have no earthly idea how we are even going to get to round twenty, let alone round thirty.
  25. Going through the available names to update my depth chart and there is one person who I think has been severely undervalued. The problem is I am not sure that he has any real value to me in the vision I currently have laid out. Makes me next pick tough. I almost hope he's off the board by that point.
