Folks pointing out that Sara Logan's new look is pretty much a 100% ripoff of Max the Impaler. -

Raquel is good and all, but it seems like they won't let her have any personality beyond "back day at the gym enthusiast". -

WWE using "War Pigs" for the Survivor Series theme is pretty close to "The GOP using Born in the USA without having any clue what that song is about" territory. -

New Day and the Usos having another banger to kick off Smackdown. -
Main event was great as expected, Mox's promo was excellent too. Mox/MJF is gonna bang and it will be interesting if they are going to pull the trigger on MJF.

if I remember it was because both had fireballs as special moves

Funny you should say that, his son (Anthony Deluca Jr.) ran for mayor and his campaign signs had the "Jr" in the smallest, bottom-line-on-the-eye-chart font possible.
-
Deluca had been the representative in the district I grew up in (shout out to Penn Hills) since 1983 so I'm positive people voted for him out of reflex. Hell, I probably would have too if I still lived there.

You guys probably have noticed I find a lot of complaints about AEW to be nitpicky, but one that I 100% agree with is that there's too many fucking tournaments. Especially this one going on now that's supposed to decide a #1 contender for the world title but it's mostly full of ham and eggers since all the top guys are tied up in other programs. It comes down to looking like an obvious push for someone like Ricky Starks since no one else would be a believable winner. Which....if you're going to strap the rocket to someone, just do it instead of doing all this bullshit.

My favorite is Hawk as Stan Hansen when Hawk was already in the Japanese version. Also Ric Flair as Baba makes sense in a weird way since both were famous for chops.

Considering like 95% of Hunter's ideas since taking over have been "get rid of all the stupid shit Vince was doing", I would not be surprised to see Theory getting a repackage soon. I would be all for a Way reunion but it seems like Indi is starting her Villian Arc on NXT now. -

To be fair, the whole idea of Money in the Bank was kind of pointless since you know they weren't having anyone beat Roman. They painted themselves into a corner where he'd have to go after a secondary title and make him look lesser than anyone else who's cashed in. -

I mean, he was the doofy jock "brother" in the Way family, which isn't too far off from how he's presented now. -

I think it's just Theory was a Vince Guy and Hunter doesn't see it. -

You ever see those episodes of Prime Time that had matches from the old Boston Garden that the Duke did commentary on? That was something to behold. -
Fiasco? They have a release date announced.

So Survivor Series is going to be in Boston.....hmmm, wonder if there's any Boston natives who could be one of the conveniently open two spaces on the babyface side who could make a big return in front of a hometown crowd. -

I can see both WWE and Impact doing it again, since both of their shows were pretty well received. Plus Paul was obviously big on pushing the women in NXT so I would imagine there wouldn't need to be the arm twisting that previously needed to be required. -

Impact seems to have embraced its role as a low pressure place to go to get things back on track, and it's actually good for the business that a place like that exists. Especially when WWE was in cost cutting mode, it was nice for people to have a place to land since Impact is basically going to outlast all human life as we know it. Also based on the post show interview WWE put on their Youtube page, it seems like the main event angle was indeed supposed to be Lashley's heel turn. -

I always got the impression there was some kind of issue going on with her and AEW, even before Keith went there people were thinking she would show up at some point and she just.... didn't. When Keith signed people just kind of assumed it was a done deal she'd show up and again, nothing. For some reason there just seemed to be no interest there whether it was on her side or theirs. -
But it has been. GamePass has been a huge money maker for Microsoft and has been a boon to a lot of midrange and smaller devs. Again, the only games that stay free on it forever are ones made by MS or their owned subsidiaries (so it they are still getting the money either way). It gives people the chance to play games they might not have risked the purchase on, and there's a whole other half of GamePass for PC games so people on that platform don't really lose out either. The only one it kinda sucks for is Sony, but most AAA games are multiplatform and Sony just updated PlayStation Plus to include free games as well. They don't do it as well as GamePass, but that's not Microsoft's fault. Now there's a larger argument to be made that subscription services in general aren't good in general, but there's nothing particularly egregious about GamePass itself. If anything it's become the model of how it should be done if subscription models are going to be the future.
