  1. Yep, it's been a big boon for a lot of smaller and/or indy games. Microsoft pays good money for it. Also they aren't available free forever unless it's a game made by MS or a company they own like Bethesda. I like it since I preordered it on PS5 to have a physical copy (I have the digital only Xbox Series S) so now I can play it on both systems.
  2. I'm guessing the point was to turn Lashley heel (and Seth face too maybe?). Also I wasn't really hankering for an Austin Theory main event push, but man has winning MITB just been a series of punk outs.

    AEW TV 11/2-11/4

Anytime someone kicks out of a Pedigree in WWE, I expect Hunter to come out and end the match pissed-off Inoki style.
  4. Hmm, Lashley said in an interview he wants to bring back the Hurt Business and now Cedric and Shelton are back on TV for the first time in ages.
  5. Seth with the 90s wrestler gear tonight
  6. I still don't get why a potentially great manager like JBL is being wasted on Corbin. Maybe they are hoping he can work magic like MVP.
  7. I don't know what these announcers are on about, I've never heard it pronounced anything but "Wilks-Barry", and I hear it a lot since the Penguins' AHL team plays there.
  8. Fightful reporting Wendy Choo and Xyon Quinn are getting looks on Main Event tonight,
  9. Yeah that was a pretty awkward way to shoehorn a six man match.
  10. lol at this point I think the whole locker room is trying to get Solo to crack on TV
  11. If Braun was a heel and he was doing some MJF style "living the gimmick on social media" bit, then fine. But he's not, and because of his prior nonsense he's going to get zero benefit of the doubt (nor does he deserve any). He's not even someone like KO who's sometimes a smart ass on social media, he's a guy with a history of being a dickhole so anything that even approaches this is not going to get looked at as anything less than more dickhole behavior.
  12. This certainly seems like an everyone kinda sucks situation, but considering Billy keeps shitting on women's wrestling and Mickie James was the driving force behind the Empower PPV I can kind of get why Aldis is pissed at him.
  13. So Nick Aldis posted then deleted an Instagram post saying he's done with the NWA due to a falling out with Billy Corgan and that he was embarrassed with the direction of the company he can't be a part of it. For what it's worth Billy said he was sick of Aldis's constant politicking so one would assume he's trying to get himself another title run and is boo boo facing backstage when he was told no.
  14. Apparently getting his WWE gig back didn't keep Braun from being a douchebag on Twitter, even Mustafa Ali was roasting him. Coming off as Not Mad Online while his co workers dunk on him paints a picture of a guy not too popular with the boys.
  15. FYI, GE hasn't owned NBC since 2013, Comcast owns it now.
  16. I suppose the last 8 years or so of seeing the most horrible people get to do whatever they want with practically zero consequences have jaded me to these kind of things. I fully acknowledge it's horrible but at this point getting mad about it honestly feels like pissing into the wind. I'm kind of envious of folks who can still muster anger at this point, I think I've just reached a level of outrage burnout. Probably not in no small part that in a week or so there's a good chance my state will be represented in the Senate by Doctor Fucking Oz.
  17. Well it wasn't for the viewers, so that wasn't the point. Dave even said they knew the show was going to take a hit due to the World Series so they had a bunch of surprises so people would be compelled to watch on DVR after the game (which seemed to work since they apparently got a big DVR viewership for it).
  18. It seemed pretty obvious that it was TK's apology to the boys for the mess that happened, and at the end of the day it was just part of Jericho's angle beating former ROH folks. If Colt becomes a weekly feature shoehorned on TV, then there's reason to be upset about it IMO.
  19. Funny how all the stories coming out how the AEW locker room got a morale boost from Cabana being on Dynamite are getting no-sold like early 90s Taker in this thread.
  20. That reminds me, I wonder who gets the gate money for the Saudi shows. It's been stated that WWE only gets the flat fee the government pays them (and merch sales I guess), and even a giant wrestling gate would be equivalent to loose change found in the couch for MBS, so where does it go?
  21. https://www.instagram.com/p/CkjDTMeJHYh/ Otis discussing his battles with severe dyslexia and how with the help of a tutor he was finally able to read an entire book for the first time ever.
  22. Im saying the angle could be the Bloodline expecting him to do it, not that he actually does. Then they do him like the Horsemen did Lex Luger when he wouldn't let JJ win the Bunkhouse battle royal.
  23. For WWE it's money, for MBS it's a way to sportswash all their actions and make Saudi seem like it's not really that bad of a place. Also I'm not sure if it's so much "normalized" or fans just realizing WWE is going to do this no matter what anyone says. It sucks, but if you're going to demand ethics in your entertainment sources you're going to be very very bored.
  24. KO/Sami winning the belts from the Usos was the original plan, but word is it's being pushed back because Sami-mania started running wild BROTHER. Since the Bloodline is so much like the Horsemen, I wonder if Sami wins the Rumble and gets turned on when he doesn't give up his shot and/or lay down for Roman.
  25. I'm sure he did feel responsible since after it happened he never went back to the Northeast and let Waldo keep using the Von Erich name in the WWWF. I'm really interested in how they present Fritz pushing his kids into an industry that at least two had no business in. Mike never wanted to be a wrestler, he wanted to be a camera man but after David died he had to be the replacement Von Erich so the Freebirds feud could keep going. Chris wanted to be a wrestler, but physically couldn't but no one would tell him no.
