Part of it is the Lucha mindset, guys have to basically be in Bruiser Brody mode in terms of looking out for themselves to the point it is very off putting to US promoters/wrestlers since we haven't really seen someone like that here since, well, Brody. That's where stuff like "WWE got mad Sin Cara acts like a big star" comes from. That's where LA Park and his famous difficult to work with stories come from. They came up in a business that is very much still in the "slimy territory promoter" era, so they are more or less taught to be difficult to work with. Having said all that, if you tend to be an asshole on top of all of that.....well that's where the fun starts.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?

IIRC she ended up with a fractured vertebrae from that bump. -
She also turned heel on Izzy, Bayley was owning Twitter.

The show run by the guy who's (allegedly) off his tits on Adderall seems rushed? Perish the thought

Meanwhile during all of this, Adam Cole is playing Super Mario RPG on his Twitch channel moisturized and unbothered.

At least with MJF you get the sense that he's just kayfabing 24/7, Sammy comes off as actually a douchebag more often than not.

My takeaway from all this is that Ricky Starks is a goddamn legend.

It sure seems in retrospect AEW's biggest misstep has been grabbing any and everyone they could without considering the effect it would have on the locker room. It's great having a bunch of great workers, but then you have to deal with the equally sized egos that go along with that.

I would take that interview with a sizeable grain of salt, since the issues he had weren't from not saying hi to folks but rubbing pretty much everyone he comes in contact with the wrong way. Basically Andrade comes off as someone with Main Character Syndrome, and is blissfully unaware of how he comes off to others. In related news, it also seems like he's done with AAA as well, so there's another promotion who didn't want to deal with his bullshit.

Io's moonsault reminds me so much of Muta's back when he still had knees. So crisp every time.

Looks like the White Rabbit clues this week are pointing to Bray (or whoever, but who we kidding) showing up at Extreme Rules.

Now that Candice and Johnny are back, I expect Baby Wrestling to enter and win the Rumble now.

Tony in the mood for some BEEF and booked Wardlow vs Brian Cage for Dynamite.

lol @ Riddle having to recruit DC because Seth has made him look like 80 different kinds of bitch already.

Dom actually showing charisma? Baby steps, but it's something.

It's just a weird stip match to make. On paper Andrade vs #10 shouldn't be anything more than a competitive squash, but putting an emphasis on Brodie Lee being the one who gave him the mask would make you think the opposite. Perhaps it's just a way to add some doubt to a match that would normally wouldn't have it, but I don't want to see the reaction the Terminally Stupid Online folks will have to AEW "disrespecting Brodie's legacy" or some shit.

AEW is way too conservative at times when it comes to where they run shows, Fans on the west coast were begging for them to come forever before they finally did, and even then they went to buildings way smaller than they could have filled the first time out.

History has shown that CMLL and Memphis were the only companies to run the same markets consistently without burning them out.

I hope that other than a nice raise in money, the next TV deal gives them a second hour for Rampage and a time slot that doesn't get punted all over the calendar.

Also consider that it's been reported that while WWE reached out to everyone in AEW who used to work there, it seems the only people who asked for their release are "the ones with significant others" in WWE. Based on recent events that seems to indicate it was Black (Zelina), Buddy (Rhea), and Andrade (Charlotte).

So Rob Viper tweeted a thread that at first was about LA Park and the long-known difficulty working with him can be, only to reveal at the end he was talking about Andrade. Seems like he's the type who wants to be the focus of all the attention no matter what, which inevitably causes problems for whatever company he works for. Rob also made the point that LA Park can get away with it because he's been a proven draw in Mexico for years (and still is really), Andrade's only at that level in his mind. Even mentioned that Andrade gets mad when he sees Bandido because he actually became what Andrade thinks he is. So reading between the lines here, it's easy to assume that since Bandido tore down the house on Dynamite and got offered a contract, Andrade probably lost his shit over it.

Inoki was like if Vince McMahon, Dana White, and Ric Flair were all mashed into one person.
