"YOU'RE A NERD!" *slap* I died laughing

Are the Creeds finally going to kill Roddy?

Watching Kasey....err KATANA CHANCE reminds me of how average to small sized dudes love working with Rey because they can work big man style and do power moves.

Indeed it is. Wrestling is so much better when there's two (or more) companies thriving on top. WWE's biggest weakness by far was having the wrestling equivalent of Joe Paterno running things in 2022. There will still be things that miss, but now it will be from trying new things that didn't connect rather than having to book squarely around the interests of a bizarre old man.

Yeah, it turns out you can get people to watch your show if you tell them what's going to be happening (and then actually deliver on the matches you promised). Also it turns out than one of the tidbits that came out after Vince leaving is that he was frequently having memory issues and half the reason he was ripping up scripts and doing the same thing over and over was him not remembering what he did before.

They probably don't know Triple H is in charge, but they know Vince isn't. Also they were going to get a post PPV bump since SummerSlam is the second biggest show of the year. so the combo of those two factors were apparently huge.

Didn't Dave always say that Brody wanted to have a big money program with Hogan at one point? That'd be a pretty interesting "What If" scenario. I can't imagine Brody lasting longer than five minutes in the WWF without either pissing someone off or getting pissed off himself though.

I like the approach being taken so far. I'm sure the folks expecting Hunter to blow everything up on day one and start over are disappointed, but small changes over time is the better approach (not to mention one not likely to spook the stock price).

Dom out here living the internet's dream of being choked out by Rhea

Wow, an actual storyline with the women that isn't "they all hate each other", we are truly on the other side now fellas.

Hunter wants to restore some of Ciampa's NXT presentation so maybe he'll be able to do more than be Miz's lackey.

I figured she was hurt when she was offering her left hand during the post match handshake with Bianca. Becky's one tough mf to finish the match like that.

Dave pointing out that Ric looked way better in those training videos with Jay Lethal than he did tonight, and also the foot injury he mentioned having like 2 weeks ago would have put out a young wrestler for like a month. I

Remember when he was doing the Voodoo Kin Mafia (VKM) stuff in TNA? Then him and Billy did that shoot interview where they shit all over Hunter only to kiss his ass when it first looked like he was being primed to take over? Then when he got fired in the mass cleanout of anyone who ever said hi to Hunter, he was suddenly trying to be TK's new BFF. For a guy who spent so much time in the periphery of some of the best politicians wrestling has ever seen, he sure didn't learn how to do it very well.

That largely came about when he was having main event matches with a barely past rookie stage Lex Luger that built him so strong he became a main event level guy practically overnight. That doesn't seem like that much of a big deal since Lex did eventually grow into that level but he was absolutely NOT there at the time it happened.

Raw started in 1993, but the last few years of Prime Time they were noticeably cutting back on the arena matches and focusing more on extended skits and showing matches from the other syndicated shows. Speaking of, with WWE improving the quality of their syndicated shows so quickly, I remember how jarring that was as a kid. All weekend I would watch this slick ass state of the art (for the time) production and then on Monday night I'd watch Bobby and Gorilla banter between matches from MSG that looked like they could have been from either 1986 or 1976 based on the quality.

Wrestling fans have always been appreciative of someone coming from outside the wrestling and actually performing well. So many celebrities have come in and were obvious in only being there for the check and taking it as a joke. Even if a celebrity kinda sucks but you can tell they really were into it and having fun (like the Johnny Knoxville stuff) people tend to give it a pass more or less. When a celeb comes in and not only took it seriously but actually ended up being good at it, they almost always get a big pop for that. It's actually even more impressive in a way that a guy who built his brand on being a douchebag took the time to train and take this WWE adventure of his seriously.

It should be noticed that the show was largely babyfaces going over, and one of the times heels won (the Usos) is probably leading to an angle with the Street Profits splitting. Makes for a much different feel to the show when it's not hours of heels making faces look like geeks for the all important HEAT.

Yeah there's at leash two giant video boards in that stadium.

Brock playing Jason Vorhees here is fucking great

Theory's mouth makes him look like a damn muppet.

I'm sure Mayor Kane and Ronda had a fun chat backstage about how school shootings are all false flags.

Ronda finally being heel like God intended is a good thing.

Looks like Io's main roster name is going to be IYO SKYE
