As much as I don't really want to see New Day break up, the slow burn of Xavier Woods' turn has been excellent.

Bryan coming out as a killer, having the banger match we all expect him to have, and falling just short because Swerve was just that much more vicious would hardly put egg on the faces of the folks hyping up him up. What's been weird to me is Bryan saying stuff like he did in one interview that he's probably going to need neck surgery before the end of the year. I get that he was probably just trying to cast uncertainty on the outcome, but it makes it appear that if he wins he's just going to be a short term champ one way or another.

He really wants that Roman mania match tho, the only reason it didn't happen already is the fans hijacked his attempt to cuck Cody this year.

That was the best video package AEW has done, that Danielson career retrospective was phenomenal. I love how all pro wrestling logic makes Bryan winning a foregone conclusion, but if there was ever someone who would lobby hard to *not* win his final match it's him.
