The way the Rumble is usually booked is you're told when you are entering and who you're supposed to eliminated. From what it sounds like, the reason this year's was so bad is everyone had their entry spots moved around so much they weren't sure wtf they were supposed to be doing.

What really seemed to seal Shane's fate is he kept moving around where Bad Bunny would enter the Rumble and apparently that made people worry he would piss off their biggest mainstream star.
