Everything on max is a big plus since I have Hulu+live TV and the end of damn near every show because there's no option to extend dvr recordings.

The first show of the CW era was pretty good, Cora being back just makes the women's roster even more ridiculously stacked than it was before.

So are they going to have Miz and Woods join Karrion Kross' Kavelcade of Jabronies?
-
The Jags are (and have been for a while) a mess, but he's still an NFL owner and I'm almost positive that was a subtle jab at Vince and his inability to "disrupt" football like he's tried twice to do.

Nikkita Lyons made her return at an NXT house show tonight, clearly WWE isn't fucking around with the CW debut.

Also it looks like Swerve had a case of TK-itis and spilled the beans about a Fox deal: "We’re about to move,” he said. “We’re about to get on Fox. SmackDown is leaving Fox. And then we’re taking Fox…TNT, TBS, and Fox. We got all three of them things. Tony Khan lets me do whatever the f*** I want. He owns the Jacksonville Jaguars.”

Even with news like this and Jericho main eventing the Anniversary Show, CMLL continuing to maintain a relationship with a US company is by far the most improbable part of this whole partnership.

I know that because Bryan is Bryan anything is possible, but it doesn't really seem like Mox is going to be the one who retires him.

Yooooo.... MVP coming out and basically announcing the Hurt Business is in AEW was a nice surprise

Hook retiring the FTW in NYC was a nice way to wrap things up and was a good little TV moment with Tazz.

We sure Nigel wasn't secretly wrestling somewhere all these years? That sure didn't look like a guy who's been out of the ring for over a decade. I know its not on the level of their previous classics but they sure took us back to the classic ROH days.

By all accounts this was most likely going to be another WWE puff piece until all the Vince stuff broke, so it's the back end of episodes that are probably going to be the ones to watch.

Reports are out he tried to buy the doc back from Netflix so it's really looking like he's nervous about this, which is good.

So at this point it seems all but official AEW has a new deal with WBD and based on a combination of insider news and TK being incapable of keeping any secrets. So far it looks like it's going to be $170 million a year for 3 years and an option for a fourth, which is about double what they have now. They would air on TNT, TBS and Tru TV two times a week. Dave seems to be under the impression Tru TV would be airing reruns of Dynamite or Collision since they are trying to rebrand it as a sports network from 8-10pm. I think it also would be a good place for them to stick a ROH tv show if they could convince WBD to throw it in the pot. AEW PPVs will also start streaming on MAX starting January 2025 at the latest (I also think MAX could be a landing spot for ROH if WBD doesn't want it on regular TV). Rampage seems to be getting put out of its misery since there hasn't really been any reason for it existing once it became the C show. AEW is also seemingly trying to shop around a new show (they trademarked AEW: Shockwave) to Fox for a spot on FS1 and also another package to network channels. When it's all said and done it looks like AEW will officially be a profitable business and most likely get a significant boost in visibility by having a spot on a top streaming service like MAX.

AEW TV - 9/18 - 9/21 - Never Mind The Bollocks Heres The Outrunners
sek69 replied to Timbo Slice's topic in AEW
Which is probably why Mina is coming back, honestly. Speaking of that whole situation what happened to Toni? I know she's making challenges to people in Stardom, but in AEW continuity it's like she pulled a Roman and peaced out after ending a long title run. -
Also Braun and Reed in a Meatyweight division rematch
-
Outrunners-mania is running wild brother!
-
Watching the Triplemania replay on triller and i can't help but notice that Satnam Singh did more in the tag title 4 way than all his AEW appearances combined. It's not like he was out there like Ricochet but he was far from the worst part of the show.

That's a lot of badassery in one photo.

Surprised we haven't got a Santino appearance yet since he's the authority figure in TNA and Ariana Grace recently showed up declaring she's the liaison between NXT and TNA.
