  1. As much work as he put into that, to the point they got official UUDD Uno cards made, this is straight up wage theft. 2 million Youtube subs and hasn't got a dime. That's disgusting.
  2. Seems like he is as well, this is how the story is written:
  3. Jacket Time is such a stupid gimmick it kind of went all the way to being awesome. Also Diamond Mine is my favorite stable in wrestling right now. I love how Malcom Bivens and Hachiman have a JC/Big Bubba vibe going.
  4. SRS reporting that Xavier Woods' UpUpDownDown and G4 hosting gigs count against his downside which is complete horseshit for WWE to do, and he's basically holding out from doing any UUDD content until a better deal for that can be reached.
  5. That's not bad either, but it feels Eddie really needs a big win since he always comes up just short. Plus building off all the positive energy his story has generated just seems like a no brainer move.
  6. He has to at this point, right? The only reasoning to not put him over would be if you have some big massive plan for Punk and you don't want to beat him. Even then I would say tough shit, Eddie's going over anyway. Plus a loss would be the perfect incident for Punk to snap and stop being Mr Nice Guy.
  7. Man, there's no possible way you can turn someone like Eddie heel. Just like how he said he knew people in life like New Jack and Tommy Dreamer, most folks have an Eddie Kingston in theirs. Reminds me of Mox talking about how much he was looking forward to Eddie getting a big pop from a large crowd because "he has no idea how much people fuckin' love him".
  8. He absolutely looks like he stepped out of the late 70s challenging Bruno at the Garden. I've seen people who have tried to capture that look before, and while I'm not even sure WALTER is consciously going for that vibe not, he's completely nailing it. He also was easily able to get a single chop over as a 100% believable MURDERDEATHKILL level finish in an era often mocked for too many flips, which is one of the most impressive accomplishments of the last decade.
  9. Dave just mentioned it on WOR last night/this morning, basically said it comes down to it making financial sense. Like I said, if Vince backs the money truck up I'm sure he'll move here but in the Budget Cuts Era I don't see them offering the money it would take. (plus even if they did it would just move him up the list when it's time for cuts)
  10. I mean.... he *is*. Great talker, his guys are always challenging the champ, the only difference is Heyman's guys usually win the title. The only difference is Heyman doesn't take the bumps Bobby would.
  11. I doubt we'll ever see WALTER on the main roster, he doesn't want to live in the US full time and only agreed to NXT UK because they backed the money truck up for him. The most he'll agree to is to come over for brief visits like he's been doing.
  12. Well he *did* get the name shortening treatment too since he went from Hunter Hearst Helmsley to Triple H.
  13. Was really funny seeing WWE Champion Big E responding to Angel Garza's tweet announcing he lost his last name by "welcoming him to the club" and telling him to ask Cesaro to coordinate what food and drink he's be expected to bring to the next meeting. Like it's clear he was doing it in his usual joking manner, but it was something seeing the champ basically saying how silly it is how everyone loses part of their name in WWE.
  14. Commercials on Raw seems to be a swing and a miss for the company trying to promote the new Kenneth Brannaugh movie.
  15. Really wish WWE could think of a starting off point for a women's feud that isn't "they're all catty bitches who hate each other". It's like the one Russo archetype they just can't quit.
  16. Big E vs Chad Gable is this generation's Ric Flair vs Mike Jackson. World champ has a competitive match with the job guy who's a really awesome wrestler but has no chance of advancement because he's a small guy.
  17. OK, done watching my football team narrowly avoiding shitting their pants on national TV, time to start Raw and the first thing I see is Seth coming out looking like he raided Becky's closet. WTF? Also they are so clearly telegraphing Owens turning heel (again), but making Big E look like a dick about it.
  18. Also I see AJ is back after a two week non injury related absence. Gee I wonder what that possibly could have been?
  19. NXT UK, unlike its US counterpart, actually achieved its goal (killing the budding UK indy scene before it could hit the next level of getting on TV) so Vince will probably keep it around.
  20. I would assume, given the context of coming right after releases and word coming out how utterly clueless the company was about how to book them, that it would be in regards to his opinions on Vince.
  21. WWE provides drug/alcohol rehab since a direct line can be drawn from drug abuse to wrestler deaths. Mental health issues provide more deniability so there's less pressure on them from a PR standpoint to care about that.
  22. Honestly it's probably less evil than that, when WWE sees people at a certain level and then tries to justify that perception based on that. So if they didn't see value in Keith and he obviously saw value in himself, then any attempt he makes to change their mind is going to be seen as a problem. Also Dave explained the vax issue as now that they are touring again they plan to do international tours (like the UK one they are doing now) and unvaxed people would just be a logistics headache. Part of the job is going to be international travel and to do that (in most places) you need the vax. He also went into the Nia situation and pointed out it's sending a message to the talent that if you ask for time off for mental issues they won't refuse, but when it comes time for cuts you're probably going to be high on the list. So its a nice way to discourage folks from seeking mental health which I'm sure won't lead to anything bad happening. Pretty good compare and contrast how AEW handled the Mox situation too. Another one for the "why would anyone want to go to WWE" pile.
  23. Taya (and Morrison) were happy living in Southern California, and since everyone in NXT is expected to work at the PC you pretty much have to live in Orlando. Reading between the lines, it would seem she tried to get some things guaranteed before uprooting her life and it appears they were just blowing smoke since she got cut just a few months lather.
  24. Been trying to watch last night's show and NJPW World has been on the struggle bus. Constant buffering, random crashes, player restarted at one point.
  25. I suppose they are doing something with someone new, so that's a plus. Also Dave mentioned in the WON that Vince doesn't see anything in Toni Storm, hence why she's in the spot where she's working NXT folks in dark matches now.
