What, is Vince going for the ultimate history rewrite and now trying to say Jake wasn't an addict who abandoned his family? Cause that would take some balls so big you'd have to purchase them at Costco.

How can they bury Beyond the Mat when it was just them filming Jake being Jake?

Netflix usually carries WWE DVDs, and they don't have this one as of yet. Boo-urns to that.

TNAwrestling.com is announcing Jackie has signed with them, hopefully this means Charlie Haas is soon to follow.

TNA inches closer to a regular prime time slot, and the timing couldn't be better as the WWE can't stop stepping on their own dicks.

What sucks is, if this set doesn't sell because it's cheaply made, Vince is likely to interpret it as there not being a market for big box sets. Anything but admitting they cheap-assed it.

It's not bad enough that they overdub themes, but they do them in the most awkward way possible. Two that leap to mind are Christy Hemme's theme getting replaced by generic elevator music at WM (despite her dancing to the beat of her original music, making her look like a retard) and any match where Taker used Kid Rock as a theme on his 3 disc set. I know Hogan's got edited in WM1 since he was using Eye of the Tiger then, but I can't figure out why in-house themes get dubbed.

What's funny is that in the past few weeks both TNA and WWE have had to rebook a PPV at a moment's notice, and I know who I'd say did better at repairing the damage.

Not everyone has the time, cash, or hookups to obtain the quality you're speaking of.

The problem is that most of the people who say "stop watching" usually have a stash of tapes/DVDs from around the world to keep them occupied, and not everyone has that advantage. I know I've been paying far less attention to WWE since I've been getting Mid-South and TNA comps. Hell, I forget about Smackdown most weeks.

WWE, until recently, was the only outlet to watch pro wrestling on TV every week. To clarify, comparing wrestling to other TV programs is a bit of apples and oranges. The Simpsons started to suck, but it wasn't the only comedy show on TV. People had other shows to watch that provided simliar entertainment. When WWF was shitty, we had WCW and vice versa. Now its WWE or TNA in a poor timeslot. WWE is more accessible to people who want to watch wrestling.

Not to mention most of these matches are right off WWE DVD releases. The only matches on there that I want are Backlund-Bret and Taker's debut at SS 90.

Storyline wise, there was no reason for HHH to go over either. People bitch about HHH's workrate but what really pisses me off is how wrestling is supposed to be faces getting revenge on heels but HHH attacks people and they never get revenge. After the savage beating he gave Flair, there's no reason for him to win the match.

Everyone on IRC is raving about Joey Styles, hopefully Vince will make a rare right choice and hire him full time.

I'm sure Styles will take it if they offer enough cash. WWE's the one that wanted a pretty boy know-nothing announcer, it must kill them to have to make this deal....which itself speaks volumes, doesn't it?

He looked to be in good shape, lord knows the Goldust suit doesn't lend itself toward hiding excess body weight.

Letting Goldust just wander around backstage creeping people out would be better TV than anything on the last month of Raws.

It could be, since Dustin is still capable of being a good worker, but I don't have any faith in WWE do to anything with him. He'll probably collect a few paychecks and get told "creative" doesn't have anything for him.

This is amazing on several levels: 1. It means WWE realized they fucked themselves over. 2. Joey has previously stated he didn't want to do any non-ECW related work with WWE. 3. Putting Styles on RAW would reverse WWE's standard of not allowing people with knowledge of wrestling to do play by play.
