Yeah that doesn't make sense, Hobbs doesn't need a mouthpiece and it's not like QT is going to be his bodyguard. Technically it makes sense since it's part of AEW canon that QT is the asshole teacher at the wrestling school and Hobbs is a student, but he's way past the point where he should be seen as someone's student.

Funny how last night people were like "OMG Vince is running creative again" because Corey was calling Gargano a comic book geek, and today he's announced to be in a top match on NXT's Mania weekend show.

Part of me still thinks spending some time away finally convinced him he doesn't have to be doing this 24/7 anymore. I can easily see a scenario where he can't resist giving his input because he's Vince, but doesn't want to be hands on with the daily grind anymore.

Dave mentioning last night about Vince that he's certainly doing more than just visiting like WWE is saying, but also not in as much control as people seem to think he is. Doing the typical read between the lines you have to do with him sometimes, he seems to be heavily implying he's hands on with Brock's angle and "providing suggestions but Hunter has final say" with everything else.

Dave is the same age as Sting and also grew up in CA, and will frequently mention that not only was the local territory a big deal on TV, so was lucha. So even of he wasn't a fan, it seems implausible to have grown up where and when he did and not at least be aware pro wrestling is a thing.

Interesting that not only did Cena go extra hard at Theory, he specifically mentioned him getting torn up by the Raw After Mania crowd. I wonder if that means they have some big angle planned with him.

Also let's not overlook they are doing King and Queen of the ring in Saudi. The balls on these people.
