Should we make this debate a sub-forum of its own? I mean, a thread with this many teams tossed around already, I think we should do a DVDVR styled voting/each team against PG-13 thread. This thread alone would be a organizational nightmare. PG-13 deserves a better effort then that. Plus it satisfies our collective argumentative obsessions. Who knows, it could be fun or something

Lex Luger comes to mind. Went from being paid millions of dollars to doing Indy wrestling, multiple arrests, and is linked in the death of one of the most beloved female characters of all-time.

They were awesome in OVW where technical wrestling was appreciated but the WWF dropped the ball almost entirely with the team. 8. Yeah... 9. Nope. Not even close, man. 10. They had two excellent hardcore brawls with Cactus Jack outside of that, I am drawing a blank as to where their real significance lays. Sure, they had longevity as a team, had foreign tours, were in a movie, but outside of that, I wouldn't personally rank them above PG-13. Not really, no. Some other member (Kotska) made that qualifying distinction. Dylan, for the record, I'm not, nor have I ever implied that PG-13 wasn't a good tag team. They're just not top twenty material. There is a list waiting to be made that has a hundred good/great/excellent teams on it. PG-13 would be on the list. But they would never place.

I was born in 1985. I thought listing thirty-five teams would have sufficed. I don't know.

Still, a title reign was a title reign though. It'd be stupid to turn it down because it was already in the stars for you to lose it shorter than you intended to drop it.

They're on the list yes, but not towards the top Are there ten teams better than them? Maybe but I'm not sure of it. Are there 20 teams better? I'd say almost certainly not. PG-13 deserve a retrospective at some point. It doesn't matter what ten or twenty teams I choose, though, does it? I mean, you can use all of the distinctions in the world you want to ensure their supremacy over whatever team or teams I chose. I'm just not that contrarian, man. Instead of me pimping teams that are better then PG-13 without a doubt, how about you pimp...say about twenty excellent matches of theirs. Was the NWA still doing committee voting on the champion before/during/after Garvin's title win? If yes, then who was his main supporter in going over Flair? It still seems like an odd program and let alone, title switch. Garvin, though a solid talent, was not in the same ballpark as Flair.

It doesn't make sense to want a skinny giant. But WWE harped on Big Show for years about his weight. Nothing new. "I'm a piece of shit. I'm just a fat piece of shit". 1998. Because you see, you can't have fat guys, it's not rassling anymore, we need guys who all look like Randy Orton. This might reopen a can of worms, but is it really all that surprising that the WWE prefers their entertainers to look like Orton? Professional wrestling has a history of using that particular model for success just like every other form of major entertainment. Not always the case, no, but more often than not, yes. A standard that is of questionable moral significance, but nevertheless far more profitable than the alternative.

To be fair, at least the guy cares enough about his career or that of his friend's to promote it. Having said that though, yeah, quite amateurish in the advertising and promoting aspect. There are other members here who can shill off their promotion or friends without looking like a total noob and/or desperation seeping out of their every word.

Kharma seems to have problems anywhere she works, though. TNA mistreated her, and now the WWE, albeit a much shorter time, has also mistreated her. Maybe she needs to become a writer.
