So it looks my spare time is getting less and less to spend on this project. I have two week long breaks coming up abroad before Xmas, aswell as working in retail my spare time is not what it was. I will have time come the new year and will be able to put my time back into this project.

Maybe I am missing something here but can you explain this result? Just a typo, I'll edit it...

Standard Florida action with Dusty and Sullivan and clan. You also have some great talent in the wings to step up, Mike Shaw id love for Sullivan to turn to the darkside as i really think Shaw is underrated, Hennig is well Hennig and I just dont know about Mike Von Erich, but hes a great name to have on the roster.

What a show, full of twists and turns, upsets, leg breaks and purses, its what Southwest is all about. Butch turning and running off to Memphis in the process, El Gran Apollo coming so close, but just didnt have enough, Adnan causing more issues for Duggan and now Robert Fuller coming in. And then to finish off the show we get that dick Tully causing more issues. I agree with Bill Ash and hopefully some one picks him up and uses him for what he's worth. Just week after week great action.

Good first few weeks here in Memphis, Im a massive Memphis mark and you have the feel of the territory down to a tee. Im interested in the little sister promotion, ive found that although it doesnt really add much to the game its always nice to have a low rent indy show to book and have some fun with. Now with Butch Reed along with Austin Idol (If he turns) you have a real back bone of heels for Lawler which im really looking forward too...
-
The O Zone has to be my favourite name for a tag team in this league. This promotion with the addition pick ups come across like a very traditional premium territory with the likes of Zbyzko, Bock and Dory.
-
Looking forward to this, first promotion to up sticks and move.
-
Really enjoying the rebirth of ICW. I have to say Im very interested in your use of characters to help your vision and good work on holding off in bringing Savage back, I think i did a good job holding of debuts, when this first started, so credit to you for building for his return, itll mean so much more when he does appear.. Keep up the good work.

Sunday 23th October Gordon starts off this week's Southwest Championship Wrestling highlights by congratulating The Fabulous Ones on their win over The Texas Dynasty in the Texas Tornado Street Fight which makes them now the AWA Southwest and National Tag Team Champions. He says this week they are defending those championships in a 'Last Dance' Steel Cage match with The Texas Dynasty that will mark the last time the two teams will face off in the year of 1983. Gordon says he'll let the fans know next week who was victorious in that Cage match but this week he's going to be talking about Killer Khan's reign of terror over Texas this past summer and the man who was able to stop it: 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan. Gordon says before we take a look at Killer Khan however we'll hear the words of Tully Blanchard that preceded the arrival of the Monster from Mongolia Gordon says some of the actions of Killer Khan were too brutal to be shown here on television so he'll only be able to show a few choice highlights. Gordon says hope was almost lost for the fans of Southwest Championship Wrestling as they saw so many of their heroes carried out of the arenas, never to be seen again. However unbeknownst to them, help was on it's way in the form of the 6'3, 300 pound man known as 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan Gordon explains the rules of a Coward's Way Out match which meant no pinfalls, no submissions, no DQs and no countouts, the only way to win the match was to have your opponent literally run back to the locker room and concede the match. Gordon says that was the last time that Killer Khan has been seen in Texas and since then Jim Duggan has made quite a mark on Southwest Championship Wrestling, including making quite an enemy in the form of Sheik Adnan al-Kaissie. Gordon says he'll talk more about that issue on a future edition of 'This Week in the AWA' but next week he'll be looking at the partnership turned bitter rivalry that developed between Jose Lothario and one of the hottest young stars on the rise in the world of professional wrestling, El Gran Apollo. === Run down of this weeks action in The AWA === We return with Gordon Solie who says we are now going to a special 3-on-2 Southeastern Tag Team Titles match from this past monday in Birmingham Alabama. And for those of you that saw Southeastern Championship Wrestling last night on WTBS, you will know the rematch has been signed for tomorrow evening in Birmingham, but this time in a steel cage match so there will be no outside interference from Cornette and the man we now know as Big Bubba Lynch. === Run down of this weeks action in The AWA === We now have a match that happened just two nights ago at the Mecca in Milwaukee on an AWA show, in a match that has been coming for months. === Show Ends ===

Monday 24th October 1983 Boutwell Auditorium, Birmingham, AL Bell Time 7:30pm 1. Fire and Torch defeat Brad and Scott Armstrong in 12 minutes when the Flame came to the ring and distracted Brad who was about to hit a Russian Leg Sweep on Fire, which would of no doubt been enough to get the win. After the match The Flame got involved in a 3-on-2 bet down of the Armstrong brothers, Only for Charlie Cook to come to the aid of the Armstrong's as he helped turn the table and fight off the trio of Flame, Fire and Torch. - 2. "WIldfire" Tommy Rich defeats Southeastern Television Champion Jimmy Golden in a non title match in 16 minutes when he hit a Thesz Press to defeat the newly crowned Television Champion. This match was an all out brawl which could of gone either way but in the end it was Rich who came out on top. - 5. In a Steel Cage Match for the Southeastern Tag Team Titles, The Heavenly Bodies (Bobby Eaton & Tom Pritchard) with Jim Cornette and Big Bubba Lynch defeat Ricky Gibson and Tim Horner in 23 minutes in a bloody brawl where both teams gave it their all. Although the Heavenly Bodies won the contest neither team looked like winners at the end, Big Bubba Lynch had to carry the champions to the back. - 6. The end came when Robert Fuller slapped on the Fuller Leg Lock and Buzz Sawyer passed out and the referee counted him out to ten. PROUD MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN WRESTLING ASSOCIATION SOUTHEASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV Saturday 22nd October 1983 Taped in front of a live studio audience at the WTBS Television Studio in Atlanta, GA Hosted by Charlie Platt and Gordon Solie The credits roll and we join Gordon Solie and Charlie Platt for another week of exciting wrestling action. Gordon Solie runs through the card this evening, we have National Heavyweight Champion Buzz Sawyer in action, Ricky Gibson and Tim Horner will be in tag action, Johnny Rich continues his quest up the card to get another shot at Jimmy Golden, the Armstrong Brothers will be here and todays main event see’s Southeastern Television Champion Charlie Cook defending his title against Jimmy Golden and much, much more. Johnny Rich joins Gordon and Charlie. He says that more focused than he has ever been to get one last match with Jimmy Golden so he can settle the score. He knows Golden has a TV Title match tonight and he has faith in Charlie Cook getting the job done. But for tonight he continues on his march towards retribution. Johnny Rich makes his way to the ring to faces of with Tony Falk. Johnny who is clearly a few levels above Falk, and defeats him in 4 minutes with a Running Power Slam and the pin. === Advert === We are back with Gordon and Charlie as they welcome former Southeastern Tag Team Champions Ricky Gibson and Tim Horner, they say that this past Monday they were cheated out of regaining the Tag Team Titles when a mystery man came to the ring and hit Gibson with a side walk slam and place a lifeless Jim Cornette on top of him for the win. They have spoken with Stanley Blackburn and he has agreed with them to one last title match but this time to be held inside a 15 foot high steel cage to keep anyone and everyone out of the ring. They go on to say that Stanley Blackburn agreed the match it comes with a catch, if Gibson and Horner fail to defeat the Heavenly Bodies then they will be forced to part as a tag team but it’s a risk their willing to take to regain the titles. Tonight they face of with Bill Howard and Norman Frederick Charles III, they make light work of the team and get the victory after a double dropkick to Howard and cover him for the victory in 5 minutes. === Advert === National Heavyweight Champion Buzz Sawyer joins Gordon Solie and Charlie Platt, Gordon goes over what happen last week in Birmingham where Buzz refused to have a tag team partner in his in his match tag team match with the Studd Stable, and says this week he defends his National Heavyweight Title against Robert Fuller. Buzz promises that he won’t only beat Robert Fuller but he will put him out of action. Tonight though he has the match against Josh Stroud where he makes quick work of him, defeating him in 2 minutes with a Running Power Slam. After the bell rings the Studd Stable storm the ring and begin to beat down Buzz Sawyer. Sawyer puts a fight to give the fans some hope, but the 3-on-1 is too much for the champion as the Studd Stable take control. Much like a few weeks ago the fans are calling for “Wildfire” Tommy Rich to come and help him but there’s nothing. The locker room empties with Gene Ligon, Marty Jannetty, Ted and Jerry Oates, Tony Falk, Tommy Wright, Rick McCord and Ron Ritchie come to the ring to break up the Studd Stable from there brutal beat down of Buzz Sawyer. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and Georgia === Southeastern Tag Team Champions Bobby Eaton and Tom Pritchard, The Heavenly Bodies along with their manager Jim Cornette and the mystery man join Gordon Solie and Charlie Platt. Jim Cornette starts of by celebrating his victory in the Southeastern Tag Team Title match on Monday in Birmingham. Gordon challenges Cornette to who this man is that is accompanying him and his team. Cornette goes on to say this is the Heavenly Bodies insurance policy, and his name is Big Bubba Lynch and he’s here to make sure nothing funny happens. Cornette goes on to talk about this week’s big cage match in Birmingham, where the Heavenly Bodies will put to bed this issue with Gibson and Horner. Jim Cornette moves onto address the National Tag Team Titles, he says he knows the Fabulous Ones cheated their way to winning the titles last week in Texas, but Stanley Blackburn has signed a massive National Tag Team Title match for next Monday night in Birmingham, the winners of this week’s cage match will go on to face the Fabulous Ones next Monday night for the National Tag Team Titles. As for tonight the Heavenly Bodies defeat Marty Jannetty and Gene Ligon in 5 minute in what can only be described as exhibition as Ligon and Jannetty got very little offence in on the champions. The match ends when Pritchard hits a Top Rope Elbow drop on Ligon and covers him for the win at 5 minutes. === Advert === “Wildfire” Tommy Rich comes to the ring as he faces off with Jerry Bryant. Tommy who has been having his issues with the Fullers for a while is scheduled to face off with Jimmy Golden this Monday in his quest towards the National Title. This evening he dominates Jerry Bryant in 6 minutes and finishes him off with a Thesz Press and covers him for the 3 count. After the match he makes his way to the announcer’s desk where he says this Monday continues his quest to get a rematch with Robert Fuller and then move onto the National Heavyweight Title, he says that if he can’t win the National Heavyweight Title by the end of the year then he will leave Southeastern Championship Wrestling forever. === Run down of this week’s action coming to Alabama and Georgia === We return with Brad Armstrong making his way to the ring with his brother Scott Armstrong to face off with Tommy Wright, but before he can get to the ring both men are jumped by The Flame, Fire and Torch, they beat down the Armstrong’s. This is clearly a way to send a message to Brad and Scott father who The Flame threw a fire ball at a few weeks back putting him out of action. The Flame will face off with “Bullet” Bob next week in Birmingham when Fire and Torch will be handcuffed to Brad and Scott, but they are trying their hardest to take Brad and Scott out before the big Southeastern Heavyweight Title match next week. Flame, Fire and Torch leave the Armstrong brothers motionless on the studio floor. === Advert === This week’s main event see’s Charlie Cook defend his Television Championship against Jimmy Golden. This match has a 10 minutes time limit. The match starts with a fast pace and Jimmy Golden clearly trying to get an early victory, but Cook is a bit tougher than to get pinned in 2 minutes. The match goes about 7 minutes when Cook is pushed into the referee, who gets knocked down by it. Golden hits a low kick to Cook and calls someone from the back, Robert Fuller comes to ring and climbs up onto the second rope and Golden and Fuller hit a deadly Spike Piledriver on Cook, Fuller goes to wake the referee up as Golden covers Cook. The referee rolls over and makes the 3 count at 9 minutes and Jimmy Golden is the new Southeastern Television Champion. Ron Fuller comes to the ring to celebrate with Robert and Golden. From the back Buzz Sawyer storms the ring swinging a folding chair as he cuts the The Studd Stables celebrations short, and chases them to the back. === Show Ends === Quick Results 1. Johnny Rich defeats Tony Falk in 4 minutes. 2. Ricky Gibson and Tim Horner defeat Bill Howard and Norman Frederick Charles III in 5 minutes with a Double Drop Kick. 3. Buzz Sawyer defeats Josh Stroud in 2 minutes. Following the match, The Studd Stable attacked Buzz Sawyer. 4. The Heavenly Bodies with Jim Cornette and Big Bubba Lynch defeat Marty Jannetty and Gene Ligon in 5 minutes. 5. Tommy Rich defeats Jerry Bryant in 6 minutes following the Thesz Press. 6. Jimmy Golden defeats Charlie Cook for the Southeastern Television Title in 9 minutes following a Spike Piledriver.

Thanks Goc will probably still drop them in a few weeks...
-
Although I dropped Ted and Jerry Oates I edited the post within an hour as I had a change a mind. I'll need them until the last moment I need to drop them, 1st November?
-
Always welcome new writers, and this sounds good. If there are talent on the roster you don't want we love a draft here...
-
Been a bit slow of the marks this week, I should have this weeks shows up by Tuesday. Would be Sunday but off to see the NFL at Wembley on Sunday afternoon...
-
Because there is no stopping one person picking up 7 people on the rookie draft, when everyone has drop out and then trading them here.. Time for there to be just an Free Agent List that people can pick up to fill up there rosters if they so wish...
-
Example, if I'm at 34, I can't go over so will need to drop one for another. The same rule shouldn't apply for goc let's say on 26?
-
Yeah, only if under the cap, if not you have to drop one.
-
I don't understand?
-
With the cap, I reckon we just drop the trade on here...
-
So Kevin if you pick up a scrub from the draft, just trade him for Anderson...
-
I'm sure it's been covered, but have you searched for results from him wrestling under a different alias? (Elvis Rock Monroe, Pretty Boy Roque, Rock Monroe). Might give a bit of a broader picture of him...
-
The Shadow Riders are a tricky one for me, I liked how Kris booked them, but I have nothing for them at the moment. So that's why their be on my B loop until I find something for them. And as I like my trios (Armstrongs, Studds, Heavenly Bodies, Fire Gang?) I might have to put them with Dutch when he returns. It probably isn't the person you think it may be...

Monday 17th October 1983 Boutwell Auditorium, Birmingham, AL Bell Time 7:30pm 1. Johnny Rich defeats Bill Howard in 6 minutes. In his quest to get one more match with Jimmy Golden, Johnny has been told that he needs to start at the bottom and work his way back into the frame for a match. Rich lost the rubber match in the feud between the two wrestlers last week. Johnny Rich doesn't really have much to do this evening as he finishes of Bill Howard in relatively quick fashion when he hits a Running Cross Body Block to Howard and covers him for the win. - 2. The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne) defeat The Oates (Jerry & Ted) in 9 minutes when Davis hits a Tombstone Piledriver on Jerry Oates followed by the cover for the 3 count. - 3. Fire and Torch defeat Brad and Scott Armstrong in 12 minutes when Fire and Torch hit a double splash on Scott Armstrong followed by the pin for the win. This time in 2 weeks will see these two teams handcuffed together when "Bullet" Bob Armstrong makes his return to defend his Southeastern Heavyweight Championship against The Flame. - 4. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich defeats Ron Fuller in 14 minutes with the Thesz Press and the pin. Southeastern Tag Team Champions The Heavenly Bodies (Bobby Eaton & Tom Pritchard) and Jim Cornette defeat Ricky Gibson And Tim Horner in a special 3-on-2 handicap match when Jim Cornette pinned Ricky Gibson in 12 minutes. Jim Cornette spent the entire match standing on the apron avoiding getting involved only to be tagged in by mistake and Gibson and Horner finally get there hands on Cornette. The end came when Horner and Gibson had dominated the match and looked as if they were going to get the win, only for a tall man in a black suit, hat and sunglasses comes to the ring and hits a Side Walk Slam on Gibson behind the referees back who was dealing with Horner fighting both Eaton and Pritchard on the outside. The mystery man then picks up Cornette and places him on top of the motionless Gibson for the referee to count the 3 for the Heavenly Bodies to retain the titles. The mystery man dressed in a suit, puts Cornette over his shoulder and carries him to the back. - 6. The Studd Stable (Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden) defeat National Heavyweight Champion Buzz Sawyer in 18 minutes. Buzz Sawyer was asked by the ring announcer who his partner was going to be, he said he didn't need a partner and the bell needs to be rung. Sawyer just charges straight into the Studd Stable and unleashes punch and kick one after the other. Ultimately the numbers advantage got the better of a valiant Sawyer, and The Studd Stable got the win when Golden picked Sawyer up for a piledriver, and Robert Fuller Spiked him and covered him for the win. Robert Fuller celebrated the win holding the National Heavyweight Championship. Monday 17th October 1983 Civic Centre, Albany, GA Bell Time 8pm 1. The Shadow Riders (Bobby Jaggers & Johnny Mantell) defeat The Latin Lovers (Vinnie Valentino & Javier Cruz) when Bobby Jaggers locks in a Hangmans Clutch on Javier Cruz who submitted at 13 minutes. - 5. Southeastern Television Champion Charlie Cook defeats The Flame via DQ when The Flame brought a chair into the ring and went to attack Cook with it, only for Cook to duck and hit his Running Football Tackle and knock Flame out of the ring. The referee DQ Flame for bringing the chair into the ring,
