  1. Really good match although excessive with the punishment that Woods took. But the crowd loved it and that is all that matters. New Day winning was kind of their only choice given how weak the tag division is on the babyface side after this feud This is really going to be interesting because Nakamura really needs a good singles match. Dolph wasn't it. Luckily Corbin can lose since he has the briefcase
  2. Wasn't Dillinger vs English the pre show match at the last Smackdown PPV? I doubt there was any development in this angle? Mike Bennett cosplaying a 1992 Shawn Michael with the outfit is just ridiculous
  3. Did Mysterio Sr ever win a heavyweight title? Maybe Albert Del Rio if you consider TNA an "internationally recognized title"
  4. Paige went on Twitter and basically told people to leave her alone. While she is mostly talking about social media people, seems like she is saying that to her family and friends as well. Not like we are the only ones telling her he is a pyscho. Oh well if she wants it that way. Let's just hope that Paige's family does to Del Rio before Alberto goes crazy for the last time
  5. Yeah there is no way in hell Roman Reigns is the baby face in this company after that. If Vince still thinks that then he needs to be put to sleep The issue now is what are you doing with Brock at Summerslam? Is it still Braun vs Brock, have they pushed Reigns vs Brock to Summerslam, or maybe even a 3 way match
  6. Wait is that Jordyn Grace talking video in the background?
  7. So even when Strowman gets the win, Reigns has to get his shit at the end AGAIN. Kind of bullshit Wait is Finn Balor hurt again because why isn't he on this PPV. Granted he is better than something with Heath Slater and Curt Hawkins but really strange Heath Slater apparently won that match. I mean you can't have a split screen for the pin
  8. I understand that Bo is dressed like a heel Barry Windham with the black glove but not sure why Axel is wearing a suit.
  9. Hate the finish but loved the physicality of the match. There has been talk that these two really don't like each other and it kind of shows because they were beating the crap out of each other.
  10. Wait too early in a match for the double jointed gimmick. That should really be a finishing thing like in Smackdown against Becky
  11. so is the only babyface winning tonight Roman Reigns? Although I guess technically Brock is a face in this match
  12. Looks like Shemaus accidentally got a taste of his own medicine. Looked like his jaw snapped back on that Twist of Fate And Matt is bleeding again really bad from accidentally shoot headbutting Shemaus on that dive Yeah I didn't have any expectation for this match and it more than exceeded it. Loved the finish
  13. Dixie Carter on a WWE network show. Someone might need to turn the heat on in hell because it is getting colder and colder That is pretty much the end of Enzo. Absolutely no offense and seriously doubt he will be get more and more. Maybe they can make him a commentary person on Main Event
  14. So is the length of this match the basis of how much of a future Enzo has left in this company? I can't imagine this will be a long one Oh man this is really going to kill this crowd if he gets beats in 2 or 3 minutes.
  15. One of the jokes I saw on Twitter is that given the name all finishes should be based on nut shots
  16. Well I guess that leaves us with Cedric Alexander as the next and basically last challenger. Unless they are going to go months on this like the Aries feud.
  17. All I hoping for is Strowman beating Reigns and a competitive match between Joe and Brock. Samoa Joe winning the title would be so shocking it isn't worth hoping for. Just let it be a long painful war Everything else would be gravy.
  18. So what should he actually do? Tuck his tail between his legs and say "thanks JR for commentary and please remember my name the next time". Maybe wrestlers doing things like this constantly to people with legacy in the business who badly screw up is one of the reason why they feel no need to explain/justify when they do screw up. Comparing this to Del Rio makes no sense to me. Alberto caused most of the problems in his professional and personal life. Unless Tama told JR his name wrong then it isn't even close.
  19. Don Callis is a fascinating guy. He's actually incredibly intelligent - like, he's a member of Mensa. I honestly believe he got released from the WWF during the attitude era because his intelligence intimidated people. I'm not the only person who thinks that, I know Mick Foley has said the same thing. I don't know if it was that they intimidated people or they pissed them off because Callis had no problems telling people what he thought was smart and what was bullshit. For a guy in 1997 with no WWF stroke that was a bad combination
  20. I know this is an asshole thing to say but can someone give me a time table when you can give people a pass for a shitty performance that may or not have been alcohol influenced?
  21. Problem is where is Aries going to actually go. He more than burned his bridge with the Jarretts. He didn't leave ROH in the best shape but not sure how many of those people are still left. No idea if he is interested in New Japan or if they would want him Aries biggest problem is himself with his healthy ego. Not being a vocal point of the 205 Live is not what he wants.
  22. Chad Gable vs AJ Styles tonight. This is not a drill (hopefully) Remember people thought it was Jason Jordan that Vince is more interested in from American Alpha. Well if he is then Jason is starting seriously behind
  23. This entire Miz segment and match with Heath has every fashion nightmare possible. And of course Miz rips his pants in the worst place possible And then Dean pulls out the Dusty Rhodes "errand boy" promo and all is right in the world Well that might be the end of Crews in this company. Please tell me that Reigns isn't going to be win against Strowman at the PPV
  24. Watching "The Last Rebel" documentary about Bruiser Brody on Highspots Network and it is really good. Lots of footage from Japan, St. Louis, Texas, and probably some indies. Weird to see Bruiser Brody working guys like Nikolai Volkoff and Chris Adams They really go into details about the death in Puerto Rico with Tony Atlas, Dutch, Buddy Landell (2009 shoot interview), and others. Very compelling stuff although isn't the report that Tony Atlas recount of the incident is rather suspect? I know that the stories of how the trial occured have been considered true Highspots really has done some great documentaries on the business. Good thing all of them are on this network
  25. They ran live events mostly in minor league baseball stadiums throughout the summer of 2015 and ran three sets of TV Tapings in Las Vegas where they crowned World/Womens/Nex*Gen/Tag champions, but they never got a TV deal so it never aired. Then they mostly did co-promoted shows with various promotions in 2016. I don't know if I would call them co-promoted shows. It seems like the idea was that they book 1 or 2 Global Force guys (mostly the Jarretts) on your indie show and because of that they would get the credit for the show under the "Global Force Wrestling" banner. Even though the indie did 95% of the work and most of the card involves their talent.
