I actually remember Sunny's character, some quality heel promos and her work with the Bodydonnas. I don't remember anything Sable did except show her boobs.

Growing up in Minnesota, this guy was always larger than life to me. Funny story, my parents ended up in the same square-dancing group as him and his wife, and talked about what a great guy he was. That didn't seem real to me because he was so great at being an arrogant jerk on TV. Amazing performer, an all-time great and a personal favorite. RIP

Not sure if this is the right subsection for a topic like this, but I'm curious about Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) games that only came out in Japan. I know the Fire Pro series set the standard, I've also played the Zen-Nippon series which is pretty good. But the rest of these... I'm not sure at all about. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Super_Famicom_and_Super_Nintendo_sports_games#Wrestling Just curious if anyone has played any of the more obscure titles on this list, or if they can perhaps point me to a resource telling me more about them beyond the cursory info on Wikipedia

Yeah it's cool, I totally felt like crying this morning. Seriously, wow. Plus I love that he hooks the leg when he pins HHH. Gorilla would've been impressed.

They can still do his full entrance with the HOF introduction. I really think him being the only member of the 2015 class is the best way to go.

Oh how I loved stuff like this. They could've even quoted fake cardiologists and everything.

Would be a great idea. You could have several big stars line up to speak about him: Rock, Austin, Bret, HHH, Michaels for instance, followed by the speech of the man himself. As long as Vince did the final intro. I need to hear one last "theee UNNNNNNDERRRRTAKERRRRRRRRRRRRR"

It'd be kinda cool if next year's HOF class consisted of Undertaker and no one else
-
Goes to show how amazing his run has been, what other babyface have they had that could've been capable of pulling that off? Not Punk, not Batista during his initial run. You'd probably have to go back to Cena in 2005 before the fans turned on him. (Not counting Rock)

Saving that for tomorrow maybe? A moment with Hogan Austin or Rock would be great
-
HHH and Stephanie get the crowd back into it! Wow
-
Having Taker be the last guy to join the big WMX-like celebration at the end would be nice
-
Wow, kudos to the women, they actually got the crowd to react a bit, and they popped for the finish.

Those poor women.

What a shame that the streak ends with such an awful match.

This has made me laugh for about 5 minutes straight -
Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?

Holy crap, this must happen. As well as a tag team named Siamese Dream managed by a valet named Adore. -
This is an interesting point, and I'd really like to hear El-P's thoughts on this based on all the crap he's sat through

"You tell me! Who's side are you on?!" "NOT YOURS." Such an 80s action movie exchange there but such fantastic execution. High quality work from all involved here. -

https://twitter.com/VinceMcMahon/status/390922082571538432 I absolutely love this. Of course Vince McMahon has a Tyrannosaurus skull on his wall. -

Me too. When the camera zooms in on Orton? That's my only guess -

[1992-04-05-WWF-Wrestlemania VIII] Hulk Hogan vs Sid Justice
s1rweeze replied to Loss's topic in April 1992
I watched this again this morning for some reason or another. What's fascinating to me is that Hogan definitely gets a tepid response (by his standards) for his entrance, but Sid attacks before the bell, Hogan fights him off (while "Real American" is still playing...?) and has the crowd going bananas. It was clear Hogan's run at the top was winding down, but man, he still knew exactly how to get a huge crowd lathered up. I love that opening sequence. But then, as PeteF3 points out, they run through nearly the same comeback sequence again minutes later? ...the hell? I know Sid is limited but geez.
