    Missy thinks Koloff should be champion. Brief clip of Luger/Koloff match from house show. Looks like Koloff got himself disqualified. Koloff won’t rest until he breaks Luger’s spirit.

    Austin is not getting much mic time on this set. Decent match with Keirn getting the DDT but Hangmen running in. Keirn takes a piledriver on the studio floor. Fuller tries to help but Pritchard makes the odds too much. Fuller wants Pritchard right now. Nice to see him around.

    Embry talks about Miss Texas. He doesn’t want to bring her on TV because all the men will leave their wives. We got a Texas Death match coming up with Eddie Gilbert. Clips of chain match. Gilbert getting chocked around the ring post at one point. Embry ends up using the green mist! Nice to see something different besides chains. Gilbert puts over the women of Tennessee being hotter than Texas chicks. Eddie does a brief Embry impression. Wanted to hear more of that.

    Tax filing date has passed. IRS wants all those who missed deadline to know they are hoodlums. More audits.

    Yes. Not much of a match as Jake unleashes Damien right away. Jake puts Damien back in bag and puts it under ring. A little switcharoo. Earthquake splash! Boo! They cut away to Sean Mooney before he landed it. Mooney should have added a stubble to his disheveled look. Bottle of whiskey on the desk too in front of him. Roberts is heartbroken. Nice to finally see this one in full.

    Piper has some fun with Bearer. Roddy wants Bearer to hit him from behind. Virgil is there to block the punch though. Virgil will always have Piper’s back. Piper and Virgil play with dolls pretending to be DiBiase/Sherri.

    Pat Patterson hanging out the end of the bar. Sherri wants to be Andre’s manager and she will do anything. Andre bends her over the bar and spanks her. Was funny.

    Everyone is sweating big time so either building is hot as hell or they been wrestling for a while. I'd be melting. Some chair swinging leads to a disqualification.

    Piper gets his kiss in with Sherri as usual. Bobby who is doing commentary ends up pushing Sherri into the camera when she took his chair. He looked pissed off. DiBiase wins by submission! Though they make it clear Piper didn’t submit but referee stopped match. Granted Piper had the leg “injury” going in but Ted could have done more to build to that finish. Sherri takes a couple bumps after and loses her skirt.

    Flair is wearing Gorilla Monsoon’s glasses. This match is getting hyped more than any PPV bout.

    Sherri hides the money down her dress before giving it to DiBiase. Piper continues his boycott of calling DiBiase matches. Camera man kept a shot on Sherri’s legs.

    What a start with Taue just popping Kawada a couple times when he is on the apron. When Kawada finally gets a piece of Taue it is great as he levels him with kicks and headbutts. Misawa/Kobashi do a bit of screening of keeping Jumbo/Fuchi away from breaking it up. Kawada ends up taking a big beating to the point when he finally tags out he’s laying on the apron for a few. Totally feels like Fuchi spends barely any time in the ring but he’s all over the place outside. He's awesome at just getting in there at the right time and heeling things up. Great crowd who were chanting for everyone and what a match. Favorite of the year so far.

    Match listing with USWA had me thinking it would be a chain match where they had their tights stuffed full of chains. I don’t think it’s one of those touch four corner matches. Yanamoto appears to have too many weapons as he’s fumbling his briefcase while holding a kendo stick. Okay so they are touching corners when they weren’t earlier in match. Austin interferes. I dig that over the shoulder/elbow drop tag team move he’s been doing. DQ finish with the referee getting completely taken out.

    We jump ahead in match after intros. Solo effort a long time by Hansen who gets beat on by both Williams and Gordy. Good job there. Some good suspense when Williams had the octopus hold on and whether Spivey would submit. Gordy is battling like crazy with Hansen to try get him out of the ring when Williams/Spivey are in there a low. Makes for a good side match. Some referee confusion with who is legal man. Apparently it was Hansen all along. I never saw the tag. But makes for a rewarding finish when we find out Hansen is legal and he immediately hits the lariat.

    Liked Misawa busting out the enziguris. He was throwing everything at Jumbo. Later, Jumbo looks like he won’t get a powerslam successfully and just drops Misawa throat first across the ropes. Misawa got a bit more offense in but looked to be the turning point in match. Really good finishing stretch to match. Damn good card so far.

    Wave by the fans before the match start was a sight. Cool armbar takedown by Kawada to start. Taue gets the anger going first with the strikes and Kawada’s responds by busting him open. Was really good though below January match. Count out finish seems out of place for AJPW at this point but I was fine with it as Taue hit Kawada with his finisher on the floor. Kawada gets stretchered out and it had me wanting to see these guys fight again.

    I thought it was good as both guys were trying hard out there. They did the right type of match for their place on the card and the crowd were into it. Good win for Kobashi too.

    What is up with Flair’s entrance music? Hard chops from both guys and Flair’s chest is bloody. Both guys are continuing to lay in the chops. Flair getting upset at fans who are trying to bring attention to him using the ropes repeatedly. Now that’s a referee bump. Arn helps Flair adding pressure to the figure four but Gigante saves. This was built as a grudge match and damn did it deliver. They were whacking the hell out of each other. Pillman looked like a big star in the making. Excellent match.

    Paul E wants to know what is going on with the Horsemen. Anderson talks about previous title shots passing him by. He won the TV title not the Horsemen. It’s about him. Horsemen seem very fractured.

    Owen Hart in WCW. First for me to watch. Owen shows off some of his high flying moves in quick match. I’d be curious to see more of Owen/Morton tag team.

    Flair plugs a local match between him and Windham versus Sting and El Gigante. Standard promo.

    I await the Gilbert run in. I like how Embry feels the need to cheat 15 seconds into a squash match. Embry has run off Lawler and Gilbert is next. Friend of Gilbert’s comes to confront Embry. Eric ends up piledriving the guy off the second rope! Wow. Don't mess with Embry. Doug makes his appearance and we get a real good promo. He was pissed off.

    Gilbert has respect now for Jarrett and Lawler. That said he has his eye on the Southern Heavyweight champion. Clips of history between Gilbert and Embry. Team Texas attacks Gilbert and bloodies him up. Gilbert a good guy now.

    Lawler grinding Embry’s face in cage. Embry was showing his own firely comeback. Looks like there were a couple ref bumps in this one. Again, it’s a cage match so I don’t see why necessary. Embry and Lawler looked great though. Lawler getting choked up against the cage was awesome. His facials were so great making you believe he really was grasping for air.

    Pritchard mentions that Jarrett has gone and found himself a tag partner. Tom isn’t worried as he’s got the most promising young star in Steve Austin. Video of cage match. Looked good but don’t know why you need to do a ref bump in a cage match.
