The song choice of Nobody Does It Better from Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me had me doing a double take. But I loved it as big Bond fan. Old video footage of Lawler against some of the biggest stars in wrestling. This was excellent with the amount of footage shown.

Lawler hits the piledriver on Funk. Gilbert keeps trying to go after Lawler until Marlin pulls Eddie out of the ring. Funk resorts to the chain. I wish he wouldn’t use the same weapon in Memphis as everyone else. Funk becomes World Champion again. I didn’t realize he lost it. Funk has to come back to Memphis to face Lawler. Terry has kind words for Memphis and their people. He gets all choked up with a phlegm ball rising in his mouth. Fargo will be the special guest referee. Funk is not a fan of him. Terry thinks the match should be held in Amarillo. Funk was good here.

[1991-03-09-USWA-Memphis TV] Music Video: Texas Hangmen
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
The repeat a lot of the same match footage during the music video. Not the best editing but the music seems to fit them. Hangmen are wearing Demolition type hoods. -
[1991-03-09-WWF-Superstars] Interview: Sgt Slaughter
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Adnan has a Hogan shirt made out to be a flag. Slaughter talks about going to war with Hogan. Slaughter lights the tshirt which goes up in flames real quick. Good promo by Slaughter. -
[1991-03-09-WWF-Superstars] Gene Okerlund and Jim Duggan at Toys 'R' Us
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Duggan doing some shopping to complete his WWF card collection. He has one card to collect which is Mean Gene’s. Duggan ends up stealing it from Okerlund himself. Fun little segments. -
[1991-03-09-WWF-Superstars] Update: Virgil/Ted Dibiase update
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Piper will be in Virgil’s corner at WrestleMania. Gene mentions a motorcycle accident Piper had. Clip of Virgil getting a victory of Haku which I’d call a big upset. -
[1991-03-09-WCW-Pro] Rick & Scott Steiner vs Fabulous Freebirds
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Freebirds were dominating most of the match which was kind of a surprise against the Steiners. Flash out of nowhere Frankensteiner wins. Right to get the belts off the Birds at this point. -
I won’t be able to follow who is who in this match. Brazos tease a mass walkout. Mostly comedy first fall which is good. Brazos show off some agility for big guys. They hit some great looking tandem dives tot he outside. Felt it started to drag a bit as match went on to the point that I was just waiting for it to end. Didn't think as high of it as you guys.

Nice little spot with Dundee coming off the top rope but putting the breaks on before hitting teammate Young in error. Young/Dundee tease friction but are on the same page when they realize what Embry is up to. Don’t see Jeanne around. Real good performance by Young who I’m not too familiar with. Short celebration for the good guys as they get handcuffed to the ropes. Pritchard joins the fun.

[1991-03-04-WWF-Primetime Wrestling] Big Boss Man and Bobby Heenan
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
More hidden camera with Heenan making bad comments about Bossman’s mom. Of course the special guest is Bossman. Heenan family isn’t much of stable at this point with Perfect being the main guy. McMahon wants to talk about The Mountie but Bossman has enough of Heenan and handcuffs him. Bossman’s momma shows up and proceeds to beat the crap out of Heenan with her handbag. So I guess we do get a pay off to that one. -
Paul Bearer is going to show Vince and Bobby how to embalm a body. Interesting topic. Bobby doesn’t have the stomach to handle it. Bearer gets another body to work on. It’s Alfred Hayes who is pretending to be dead but shaking from laughter. Silly stuff.

[1991-03-04-WWF-Primetime Wrestling] Pick The Brain
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Vince is the newest member of the Power Rangers. Bobby spends most of the segment ripping on the audience’s clothing. -
[1991-03-03-WCW-Main Event] Danger Zone: Sting and Larry Zbyszko
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Larry has his sights on the World Championship and has been chasing Flair for 15 years, glorious years. Ric has been ignoring his telegrams. Larry thinks Sting is a flash in the pan and challenges him to a trip to Larryland.- 8 replies

[1991-03-03-WWF-Wrestling Challenge] Wrestlemania VII Report
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Good Macho as usual but I had to watch it again just to watch Sherri. She was making the crazy faces and rocking the bowler hat. I don’t get them trying to make the Queen of England to be a heel going against Bulldog. So random. Regis looks to be doing his segment on the same stage that the Queen used. They still don’t mention the venue of WrestleMania. -
[1991-03-03-WWF-Wrestling Challenge] Interview: Hulk Hogan
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Hogan brings up his USO tour. Hulk has his own rules now. Hogan says the only conditions he has for their match is Slaughter will not leave with the WWF World Title. -
Funk is back with a haircut. Fans are lumberjacks. I wonder are they plants. Hat Guy was not chosen as one of the lumberjacks. The lumberjacks are very enthusiastic throwing the wrestlers back in the ring. Most of the match is each guy throwing the other to the outside. Funk starts swinging at lumberjacks towards the end and chokes one of them and the referee for good measure. The chair tossing at the end was fun with Funk egging on Lawler to throw a chair as Terry was next to the ringside fans.

Sting and El Gigante teaming up. Flair joins the commentators for some thoughts. Flair wants to know what Gigante wants. He wants the belt! Sting wants the belt too. Sting does a visual three count on Flair with Gigante counting it since he will be the special guest referee in upcoming match. That is the fastest I’ve seen Gigante ever move.

[1991-03-02-USWA-Memphis TV] Team Texas and Eddie Gilbert
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
What was the point of even pretending to having a match with Gilbert getting attacked just seconds into it. Anyways, Gilbert is pissed off and pulls himself out of the tournament to be Jarrett’s partner. Jerry had offered to wrestle two matches in same night but Marlin denies this. Lawler agrees to sit in the corner of Jarrett in tag match. Lots of tension. -
[1991-03-02-USWA-Memphis TV] Jeff Jarrett, Eddie Gilbert and Jerry Lawler
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in March 1991
Jarrett should not be doing his promo with his back to the camera. More talk about stinkin’ Texas. Jeff is more concerned with fighting Embry/Prichard than being in the round robin tournament. Jeff wants Lawler as a tag partner. Jerry denies offer as he wants to be World Champion again. Gilbert won’t be partner either as he’s not going to pull himself out of tournament if Lawler is going to be in it. Shot at World Title is more important. I don’t think this Gilbert/Lawler partnership will last very long, -
Both Gilbert and Embry reach into their tights at the same time for a weapon. Gilbert is a bit faster with the brass knuckles. Lead pipe gets the job for Embry. Talk about a round robin tournament to determine number one contender for World Title. Jarrett has a match scheduled but he gets attacked by Embry/Prichard.

A little flash of fire and you can briefly see Steamboat’s face. I remember him saying on his DVD that he was brought back but told there wasn't an open spot for him at the top of the card but if something happened to one of those guys he would be in consideration.

Someone pretending to be The Queen of England who looks not like her. Don't see the point to this one.
