[1992-05-16-USWA-TV] Contract Signing: Eddie Gilbert vs Jerry Lawler
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Lawler was pretty harsh on Gilbert here. I liked Eddie's face like he was in agreement of what Lawler was saying. Then as it looks like he is going to respond he attacks Lawler. Really intense segment.- 12 replies

Needed to see more of Embry in action. Was enjoying watching Richard Lee on the outside during the second match. He's running away and Marlin flings a chair at him and gets him in the leg. Good throw.

[1992-05-09-WCW-Saturday Night] Nikita Koloff vs Mr. Hughes
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Was curious as to why this was included in yearbook. Hughes did take a pretty good bump when getting slammed off the top rope. Crowd doesn't seem to be completely behind Koloff.- 12 replies

[1992-05-09-WCW-Saturday Night] Interview: Rick Rude
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
I didn't know who this Randy Owen guy was. Rude tries to say that holding the WWF Intercontinental title makes you the number one contender to WWF Title. Missy blowing her first line was funny. This like some sleazy talk show with women in audience claiming to be having affairs with Steamboat. Too bad Jason Hervey wasn't around this week.- 11 replies

[1992-05-09-WCW-Worldwide] Interview: Paul E. Dangerously
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Agreed, there has been very little hype of the PPV. Paul E. goes off on Kip Allen Frye and that he would be out of a job soon. Well, he was right there. -
Eddie talks about how congressman lie. They were doing that stuff back in 92? Good promo by Gilbert. I liked Marlin getting on angry with Gilbert and Coffey. He looks like he is on the verge of snapping.

[1992-05-09-USWA-TV] Interview: Eric Embry / Interview: Richard Lee
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Eric's in the hospital for his final check up. Really good promo and good job of building him up for his return. -
[1992-05-09-WWF-Superstars] Ric Flair vs Sgt Slaughter
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
The catapult spot looked really bad. Surprised they didn't edit that off TV. Looked like Slaughter could have had both knees blown out. He does deliver two of his corner turnbuckle bumps. Flair finally wins but with some help from The Mountie.- 12 replies

I wish we got a bit more from Sid/Warrior but I guess you can slide Shango into the spot instead. If I was like 5 years old when he came around I probably would have been terrified of him.

[1992-05-08-UWFi-Combat Sports] Nobuhiko Takada vs Gary Albright
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
The national anthems at the start was a nice touch in the presentation of trying to make it more of a sport. Liked this better than their 94 matches which Takada seemed to dominate too much in my mind. Here he gets to thrown more suplexes which makes me happy.- 11 replies

[1992-05-09-WWF-Superstars] Interview: Randy Savage / Interview: Ric Flair
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Thought Savage was pretty subdued in his promo. Both guys mentioned Elizabeth but I believe she was off the road at this point and the marriage was coming to an end. -
[1992-05-08-UWFi-Combat Sports] Nick Bockwinkel vs Billy Robinson
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Interesting to go back and watch this after the AWA set. Bock looks in pretty great shape for his age and barely has changed since 80's. Fun match. Read on Wikipedia about how Billy got upset at Bock in this match. You see when Bock hits a knee and Billy gets really pissed and balls up his fist like he is going to punch him. Bock points his finger in Billy's face as to chill out.- 14 replies

[1992-04-17-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Stan Hansen vs Mitsuharu Misawa
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in April 1992
Did they not use Budokan for the Carnival Final all the time? Doesn't really live up what a final match should be. Like the arm work and the finisher sequence was nice but kept waiting for it to go to next level and really didn't.- 13 replies

[1992-05-02-WCW-Saturday Night] Arn Anderson vs Big Josh (2/3 falls)
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Putting up with Hervey for that long of match was very tough to say the least. Can't believe they put him on commentary for such a long match. He was recycling lines by the end and flipping back and forth between heel and face. Ross managed to put up with him somehow. Far as the match, thought it went way too long and was just not believing that Big Josh could push Anderson to such a long match.- 16 replies

Madusa and Rude make some claims of abuse against Steamboat. Ricky appears in another part of arena and just blows fire while Madusa screams at him the whole time. Ross and Hervey were talking about this different side of Steamboat. I guess the doesn't make sense side of him. This was just weird.

[1992-05-02-WCW-Saturday Night] Interview: Barry Windham
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Missy looking good. Windham doesn't get a whole lot of talking in before getting interrupted by a fan. It's pretty obvious that his Paul E. as you can hear him clearly. Windham confronts the fan but Heyman runs off. Hervey was annoying.- 9 replies

[1992-05-02-USWA-TV] Brian Christopher vs Tom Prichard
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Eddie Marlin has been setting a bad example lately with hitting people with objects while referring and jumping the guard rail to interfere in matches. -
Couldn't understand a thing. Interview like this years before would have had Andre standing to put over his size.

[1992-05-01-UCW] Bill Wilcox vs Freight Train Fulton
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
I found this to be fascinating and worth the watch. Quite the spot fest as these guys were busting out all types of moves and submissions. They've been watching their videotapes for sure. The piledriver table spot looked great but them completely no selling it and wrestling another 12-14 minutes was pretty bad. There was no padding on the floor either. Would have been very interesting to if a match like this showed up on WWF/WCW tv at this time.- 12 replies

[1992-05-01-NJPW-Explosion Tour] Riki Choshu vs Scott Norton
Kevin Ridge replied to Loss's topic in May 1992
Norton's "missed" top rope splash was pretty awful.
