  1. Usos vs. Wyatts (2/3 Falls WWE Tag Title) - Great match with an excellent third fall. Those were some really laid out near falls and a few of them were out of this world great.
  2. Cameron vs. Naomi - I enjoyed Cole's school girl comment.
  3. Fandango vs. Adam Rose - Again, I didn't miss much.
  4. Well, I've been gone for two months. I don't think I missed much. My predictions? Cameron Wyatts Bray Cena Rollins Rusev AJ Miz Rose

I watch RAW like this every week now except I'm actually watching it live. I just don't pay attention to the stuff that I think sucks or don't really care about.
  6. I watch RAW every Monday. Sometimes I catch Smackdown, sometimes I don't. I tape it a lot. I can watch Main Event, Superstars, NXT, or whatever else on the Network whenever. I can see all the great stuff outside of WWE through WKO match recommendations. Watching older footage comes and goes. I'll be off to work for the summer until August in two weeks. I'm mostly bored as of the last two weeks since school's been out and I've watched a decent amount of wrestling stuff. I watch a shit ton of TV outside of wrestling but it's all sports. I do my best to catch at least bits and pieces of every NBA playoff game, I switch channels a lot on Monday's during football season, Saturdays are an all day affair of College football watching in the fall, and the same goes for Sunday's. If I weren't working this summer I would watch a shit ton of the World Cup. I always try to watch some of March Madness and the NBA regular season. So on and so forth. So it's hard to juggle my interests sometimes. I don't watch that much TV outside of wrestling and sports though. I think it mostly stinks.

Sheamus-Ambrose from Smackdown was excellent and one of the best matches of the year. They beat the crap out of each other.
  8. This sounds like a promising future. I think the fact that this board is more formal (I don't think that's the right word but whatever) makes it a much better board than others around the net. We've had a lot of very interesting and informative posts over the years from a wide-range of people. Some of those posts include a lot of research. I guess what I'm saying is those kinds of posts are very unique and probably deserve to be put in a place where they can be better admired. The talk about backstage politics and our average wrestling message board stuff can always stay here for everyone to discuss as usual. I'm probably not being very clear. What I'm trying to say is those long, researched (practically academic posts) would be best put in their own place. I'm talking about those posts where Kris and Dylan research attendance records or study the career's of various workers. My point is I think a front site could hold those kinds of retrospectives and research. It can make for a very unique site while being interesting and informative.

Raw was a lot better this week. This was mostly due to good in-ring action. I'm confused about Bray Wyatt. I think he's supposed to be someone who was put down in the world or something and is taking his anger out on all of the people who get adoration or something. I don't know. If that's the case they should have made that clear ten months ago. He also cut a blatantly face promo tonight. It's just weird. I liked Bryan-Del Rio and Shield-Wyatts a lot. Both were very good matches. Every other match had good length and was pretty decent. Sheamus's Brogue Kick was sickening. The Bryan-Kane stuff was incredibly bad. It was the worst of that stuff yet. I loved Adam Rose. He's awesome. So's Zeb. Cesaro was great in the RVD match and those forearms were pretty nasty. Lana praising Edward Snowden was probably overreaching but still kind of funny. Everything else was fine or just there.
  10. Cena-Wyatt was much, much worse. There was some campy stuff in Bryan-Kane but nowhere near to the degree of the atrocity in the cage.
  11. Bryan-Kane (Extreme Rules WWE Title) - I thought this was a lot of fun. I swear someone jokingly said Bryan would put Kane through a flaming table. This was a fairly well booked show with all the right people winning. I'm not crazy about Bryan-Kane again or the way Bray won tonight. Everything else was pretty great creative wise.
  12. Paige-Tamina (Diva's Title) - Okay match with a couple of great bumps from Paige. Tamina is pretty awful though.
  13. Cena-Bray (Cage) - That was a total mess. The finish was the most ridiculous ending I've ever seen in wrestling.
  14. Shield-Evolution - Very good match with even more outrageous bumping and brawling. The highlights were Ambrose yelling at Orton "Believe in the Shield bitch!" and he and Rollins suicide dives in the crowd. I'm actually surprised how decisive this was. I thought Batista was the best guy in Evolution too although Trips wasn't as bad as he was on RAW. I guess Cena will be the "face" loss tonight.
  15. I predict Evolution goes over here. Bryan may close the show with the win.
  16. Barrett-Big E. (IC Title) - Pretty good match with a few more nutty bumps to add to the night. I'm loving all of the ways Barrett is incorporating the Bull Hammer. Tonight's was done really well. Of course, the right guy won here too.
  17. Rusev-Truth/Woods - Woods took some violent bumps. The rest was what it was. Lana's admiration for Putin was funny though.
  18. Cesaro-RVD-Swagger - This was also better than I expected it to be. It was still the typical triple threat match at first. Swagger looked pretty bad at times. RVD wasn't quite as bad as he usually is and took some nutty bumps. I loved all of Cesaro's power offense. The finish was pretty nasty too.
  19. Torito-Swoggle (WeeLC) - This match was actually extremely fun with some totally insane spots. All of the table spots were nasty as fuck. And Swoggle's chair shot to Torito's head was brutal. I also loved the midget ring announcer, ref, and commentary. This exceeded expectations.
  20. I'll get this started early, and I know Will's prepping for the Spurs game. Here's the card: Torito-Swoggle (WeeLC) Rusev-Truth/Woods Big E.-Barrett (IC Title) Paige-Tamina (Diva's Title) Cesaro-RVD-Swagger (Elimination) Cena-Wyatt (Cage) Shield-Evolution Bryan-Kane (Extreme Rules f/ WWE Title) This isn't a particularly compelling card tonight. I do think it could be pretty entertaining. Thoughts, predictions, discussion, and everything else may now commence.
  21. Yeah, I learned a lot of vocabulary and geography. I can name a decent amount of sports arenas too. I remember learning words from Jericho during his heel run in 2008-2009 like fucking "axiomatic." There have been many times in my life where I have had regular conversations about something and realized I learned a word or a city from watching wrestling.
  22. Well, I'm 21 years old and never watched wrestling before 1996. So, I do have a soft spot for everything afterwards. However, everything I've seen before 1996 I've enjoyed immensely. I especially like WCW in 1989 and from 1992-1994. I absolutely love all of the 80s stuff I've seen. The angles were outstanding. I do hate the DQ and screwy finishes. They suck. It seems wrestling has gotten better with that after 1996. Today's in-ring quality is extremely consistent. I don't know if I can call it better, but I think it's more consistently good. The angles and booking suck more than half the time now. I don't care about that as much as I do in-ring. I'd have loved to live through all of that great stuff before 1996, but I didn't. I witnessed the twilight of the Attitude Era, the McMahon's all over the product, John Cena's Reign of Terror, and motherfucking TNA. I can pretend I'd like to go back in time and enjoy wrestling when it was good, but I gotta pick the last shitty eighteen years. I'm not the kind of fan who determines that if someone wasn't watching during a period they shouldn't have an opinion. This is a unique question though. I have a lot of strong opinions on stuff before 1996. I just think that what I experienced in real time is something I'd rather watch. I can watch Flair-Steamboat and say "that was great." I can watch Punk-Cena and say "I remember that." That's a huge difference for me in a discussion like this.

Main Event was great again this week. It's consistently been the best show for the last three weeks. Tonight we got Goldust-Del Rio and the continuation of the Rhodes Brothers split, Paige-Alicia Fox, Barrett-Kofi, and Bray-Sheamus. Goldust-Del Rio was decent but was more to put over the Rhodes split. Paige-Alicia was sloppy but pretty physical too. The finish is particularly nasty. Barrett-Kofi wasn't any good, but I can't blame Barrett. Kofi is terrible. The finish was awesome though. Bray-Sheamus was very physical and a pretty good match overall. Bray didn't get much control time and the match transitioned into bomb throwing, but it was good bomb throwing. Both guys were really over and the crowd was really into it. The Usos saved Sheamus from a beatdown post-match. It looks like we might get Wyatts-Usos for the tag titles at ER too.

This week was interesting. I liked the opening segment a lot. Cena's promo was fantastic and Bray's orphanage choir was horrifying. I did get a laugh out of imagining Bray running an orphanage and Luke Harper being the cook. Cena's promo later in the night was dumb but ended strong. I was talking to Dylan about the Bryan-Kane feud and literally predicted an attempted kidnapping of Brie by Kane. So, we got our annual attempted kidnapping from Kane. I thought it sucked. I did enjoy the Bryan-Stephanie promo beforehand, and Brie cursing Stephanie was hilariously awesome. Barrett is great. He is continuing to get over with every crowd. He even had some chants tonight. RVD still sucks. I'm not too thrilled about Cesaro being in a triple threat involving RVD and Swagger but at least we'll get more Zeb-Heyman confrontations. I'm actually excited for Torito-Swoggle. I have enjoyed the feud and it has given them and their groups something to do. Plus, I think their match at ER will probably be good with fun spots. The Usos tag was laid out in the most bizarre way possible. It felt like a good match with all of it's parts mixed up. It was still fun though. The Ziggler-Sandow-Jackman segment was really bad but amusing. I feel bad for Sandow. The Sheamus-Titus segment started out great, then ended badly. It made no sense. The final segment was kind of embarrassing. Flair wasn't as sad as he usually is these days. He still was sad. HHH was the more embarrassing of the two. His performance in the brawl was astonishingly bad. He sold the spear like a 12 year old who's afraid to take a bump in his backyard wrestling federation. He fucking sucks. Overall, this show was okay. There's stuff I'm looking forward to at the PPV. Other stuff I don't really care to see at all.

I honestly think Barrett is way more over now than he ever was as the leader of Nexus. I'm not sure it's all that close either.
