Highlights of a match where Mickey Poole helps Tommy Rich beat Lawler. Tommy cuts an awesome promo about how when Poole lost his hair for Lawler his life was ruined. Rich goads Lawler out to the studio then challenges him in the ring. Sid shows up and chokeslams Lawler leaving him hurt in the ring. Great stuff.

The recap is actually done very well but I don't care about this feud or angle.

Flair and Sherri scream at the fans and the camera for a few minutes.

I agree with Loss. Sid is shockingly coherent here. He is awarded the USWA title after default because of his earlier assault on Lawler. Good stuff.

Very short but good match. Vrij gives some really nasty strikes and bloodies Maeda. There were some cheapshots taken and a near fight breaks out after the match. This was a sight to see and pretty entertaining.

This was violent as fuck and really good too. Bull really made a mess with her blood. The uses of the chain were done particularly well and the blows looked vicious. Great dramatic and violent blood fight.

This is a great match from a story perspective but the execution was slightly off for me. That sounds odd but Bret's sportsmanship felt too deliberate. I think if they could have picked up the pace more throughout the whole match I could have liked this better. The match post-re-start was pretty great but Bret's control segment before the re-start was too slow because of his deliberate sportsmanship. That's my only knock against this match as it's laid out tremendously well and tells a fantastic story.

I actually thought this was great. Owen stalling for the first half of the match is an extreme exaggeration but he does do it a bit too long. The story of the match is Owen stalling for the first 5-10 minutes, Bret gets in some flashy armwork for several minutes, Owen gets on offense and uses the sleeper as a base (I don't mind the sleeper as a base but it was come back to all too often during this portion of the match making it a bit boring), Bret gets a flash pin for the first fall, Owen gets on back on offense and works Bret's leg, Owen ties it up with the figure 4, Owen goes up by one with the figure 4 again (Kind of wish he would have used another move there), Owen is back on the leg but Bret has a comeback and ties it up, it's back and forth in the waning moments and Owen has the Sharpshooter locked in but time expires, and in overtime and Bret reverses the Sharpshooter into his own to retain the belt. Yeah, there were definitely some faults in this. Owen did stall for too long but not terribly long. The middle portion of the match was middling at times because the sleeper was used as the base all too often. The last 20 minutes and OT were very strong. This was a great match but not a classic. It's really awesome that this was able to be taped though because it's such a gem.

This was pretty entertaining for the most part but I do wish Flair got to succeed in the beat down as well. Sherri dressed as Charlie Chaplin was absurd. The match was short and nothing special.

This was okay actually. Hogan "calls" the hotline on interactive Saturday and asks for Sting vs. Flair. He also brings out Mr. T and hypes WCW and Bash at the Beach.

The old man team is fucking great. Fujiwara is tremendously awesome in this. Choshu and Hash were really great in this as well. I enjoyed the leg work on Hase too. He sold it very well. The finish was fun too with Hash, Muto, and Hase all in submissions with Hase submitting in the end. This was lots of fun.

Rick was terrible in this match but I enjoyed the spot where he attempted to powerlift out of an arm lock. That was tremendous. There was some fun mockery of the Steiners from Muto and Hase here as well. They did a lot of big moves and the drama came with them but the Tokyo Dome match was better. The sloppiness and Rick hurt this some for me.
