  1. Solid but unspectacular opener that kept my attention for the duration. Not sure it'd fare as well watching on delay or rewatch but it was a good match.
  2. It needs blood but is active enough with enough bumping and fun spots on that I'm satisfied.
  3. Thoughts and prayers. That $4.99/month remains my only contribution to the insurrectionists.
  4. So is it War Games or WarGames? All chyrons seem to suggest 2 words, while the Peacock program says 1. What's the final ruling?
  5. Including this weekend KAIRI has worked 7 matches this year. Those are also the only 7 matches she's worked since July 2020. Pretty incredible to come back at that level with little to no rust, with this weekend's matches very much the highlight.
  6. Perhaps we want to pump the brakes on UFC's righteousness. They covid concerns and have openly courted this country's former president like some kind of saint. They just have a different read on what's #bestforbusiness.
  7. 100%. On the other hand, the demographics of most pro wrestling fans likely render this a "smart" business move. #murrica

I hope I'm pleasantly surprised but if Shibata was going to wrestle actual, serious matches wouldn't they be in Japan? And if he was going to wrestle seriously in the US would it really be on a Rampage? It doesn't make much sense to me but we'll see what happens.

This was one of the worst, most pointless Dynamites I can recall. MJF MIA, Moxley may as well have been gone. Little build for anything of consequence on the PPV other than Storm/Hayter which had a nice video. A very WCW-like effort.
  10. What I find curious is that Punk cares enough about something to have any story or angle pushed at all. What is is that he cares about I have no idea. But wouldn't have expected that.
  11. I thought it was a great match but the hype coming out of it didn't do it any favors. I've preferred FTR's matches with the Briscoes, DIY and Bucks. This was great but not an all timer.
  12. Wrestlers who want to leave should negotiate contracts that allow them to give notice. Put pen to paper and know what you're signing.
  13. If they're smart, they can get there with or without the Rumble.
  14. Yeah Cody feels like the move and the timing at next year's Mania built around his return from injury couldn't be more perfect. But, Rock. Not sure how/when you get to Cody if big cousin is legit available.
  15. I really wish I appreciated Castagnoli as much as everyone else does but he rarely clicks at that level regardless of opponent. We're just oil and water.
  16. That 6 man tag was terrific. Pretty rough debut for Sikoa even with a predictable finish but I can't complain about a show with one match as good as the opener.
  17. Aren't they still together?
  18. Not to get all Eric Bischoff because I don't know what comes of this and wouldn't suggest anything good does (even if possible), but I love a good drama and this has promos, star power, violence, rumors and endless speculation. Happy to be along for the ride. Oh and by the way no matter how fault should be apportioned at the end of the day it falls at Tony Khan's door because his name is on the door. But gimme the juice!
  19. Is there any chance at all they'd actually end Roman's reign on a Saturday afternoon eastern time?
  20. Am I crazy or was that 5 way the company's best TV match this year?
  21. He got squashed and cut a smarky promo that was probably too cute and then not followed up on at all. I'm not as high on his character as most but fully expect his return to blow the roof off a building when given the opportunity.
  22. What wrestling don't you love? Not trolling, but you seem to find the glory in every single thing you watch.
  23. The trios tourney bracket further suggests that Omega/Ospreay remains the plan for Wrestle Kingdom.
  24. An Omega return certainly seems imminent but it seems as though they've learned their lesson about promoting those returns rather than using them as surprises. But we shall see.
  25. Tonight's lineup looks like the weakest they've presented in quite some time. Barring some sort of major angle with the Undisputed Elite or Moxley I'm not sure what the hook is for 2 hours.
