That's bullshit. Bryan winning was the absolute best feel-good moment of the year so far and I doubt anything could top it. Exactly. Maybe they don't want to give that away for free, save that for the DVD release. They've never left the most important part of the show out of the NBC special. It makes no sense. My guess is they thought they had put enough emphasis on Bryan after the Network special or something like that. Putting his angle on the tv special would have left out not only Cena but also Austin/Rock/Hogan. Still, nobody watches that special so it's not a big deal imo.

Dave did the same thing with Punk, talked about how much he wasn't drawing, but would then talk about how shows drew disappointing numbers without him and that sort of thing. I never understood it. Yup, you could see it coming from a mile away too. His coverage of Bryan from January to March was almost identical to Punk's first months on top in 11-12.

People that Jericho has put over don't have the greatest record in WWE. I remember when Jericho tried to elevate Bourne in a mini feud but that lead to nowhere (although he was Cena's pal for a few weeks IIRC), then he tried with Ziggler, then Fandango...not blaming Jericho at all but it goes to show you how little importance the company gives to someone beating him. He did put over Cena before anyone though, he has that on his resume.

Considering how great Amborse/Rollins is shaping up to be and how they've still been patient with Reigns. Do we have a clue who is behind those 3 guys? They've been booked as close to perfection for almost 2 years in a company that can't book for shit a 1 month program. I guess the logical answer is Triple H, and I really hope he is, but he's been in charge of creative for a while now and creative still has the same problems as always.

Completely agree with this. I actually thought they did a great job making Sheamus and Cesaro come across as incredibly relevant too, which is a big credit to them Idk, I watched today after a 3 weeks hiatus and neither Sheamus nor Cesaro felt anything different to me. In fact. I would argue that Cesaro still doesn't feel like the big deal he should be at this point.

And it's not like the Wyatts have a lot of momentum or even a reason to feud with The Shield. I guess Hunter can tease dissension on The Shield by putting the three of them in the MITB match. That way the can buy 1 month before building another filler match for Battleground before they can get to the supposed end game of Roman vs Hunter.

About the Kane interference, Kofi tweeted about Steph abusing her power and sympathizing with Bryan. Why they didn't even mention it on the broadcast, I have no idea but it's just another example of miscommunication because there's no way they make Kofi tweet that shit without having a reason for it.

How big are the CM Punk chants gonna be for the Bryan segment?

The biggest "Payback" match isn't even on this card. All eyes gonna be on The Mountain vs The Red Viper at 9:40 (I already know the outcome but it's still way more compelling that anything on the PPV). Should be a pretty damn good show though, we may not get a classic but there's 2-3 matches that can be really good.

I hope they are aware that the Byan segment is gonna get "highjacked" by CM Punk chants unless they do something really good/special.
